We weren't allowed to test drive it as it was packed in the back behind the other cars and he didn't want to move them all unless we agreed to purchase it first. He assured us, It had undergone a check from his mechanic. We drove it out and he was closing up. The front wheel was grinding so bad, Im surprised it didn't seize up, It was that bad.I called him up but he said he had left and to come back in the morning. We lived 100 kms away. I called him the next day and he said to bring it back the next day. I made plans for someone to pick us up and drive us all the way home. I called that morning to confirm to bring it down and he said he can't do it. This went on for weeks. I cannot believe they are still selling cars. He is rude, Doesnt allow test drives unless you but it and very belittling to women. SAVE YOUR MONEY and don't buy any car from JAX.

So I've always been one of those people that would rather push my Holden than drive a Ford! But…read morerecently I ended up buying a second hand Ford and it's not been absolutely awful considering....... And although I haven't actually bought a Ford from this dealership I noticed something when driving past it yesterday - they have a big kids fenced playground in the middle near the offices!!!! That's bloody ingenious. Whoever came up with that idea deserves a gold star. Never have I seen a kids play area in any car dealership. But it makes sooooo much sense to me, having kids that would just drive me crazy in such a place. But not here......here they can safely and happily play while you look at vehicles or fill out all the boring paperwork.

After much searching around and being disappointed with prices at various dealerships I stopped by Jarvis Ford to see what they had in stock. I was after a certain model and they happened to have about four or five in at that time. I specifically wanted a sedan though. That was the problem as most places only sell the hatchback model. I found what I was looking for here, and at a good price. The sales man let me take it for a test run and was making small talk the whole time. He had really good conversation skills, I have to say. I was really comfortable dealing with him and didn't feel like I was being pushed into a sale. The after sales support is great with them sending out reminders for servicing. While I find their servicing a reasonable amount higher than most other places, this particular yard doesn't do the servicing so I won't factor that into this review.
