Love love love this clinic. The vets are all so caring and compassionate. I never leave without answers. I work in rescue, so they have seen me a bunch over the years with some "hot mess" rescued cats. I'm so appreciative of the staff, Dr Whittle, and level of care they have always shown. I could not recommend them enough. They treat every baby like their own and I always know we are in good hands with Paces Ferry.

I brought my cat in for his yearly rabies vaccine and they charged me an additional $70 on top of the $32 vaccine charge for TEN MINUTES only to tell me my cat was healthy. I know he's healthy... I didn't ask for an exam, I brought him in for his yearly vaccine! Then when I questioned it, they told me they checked his eyes and ears. I'm sorry... SEVENTY DOLLARS to look at his eyes and ears!?!? I'm clearly in the wrong profession if you can make $70 for ten minutes of doing hardly anything. I would even consider a $30-$40 exam fee to be somewhat reasonable but $70 is insane. They also failed to inform me of this fee beforehand and it wasn't on my previous years invoice (attached). Sick to my stomach and I will NOT be coming back.

Very nice staff very professional. Dr. Hardeman is so kind to my pet and was easy to understand. I appreciate her taking the time to talk to me on the phone about my dog. Blair the vet tech was extremely knowledgeable. I trust this team and I will continue to take my baby here every year.

Dr. LeFavi was exceptional. She took the time to answer every single one of my questions thoroughly, never making me feel rushed or dismissed. I left the appointment feeling informed, reassured, and confident that my pet was receiving the best possible care. I truly believe that when you find the right veterinary clinic, you just know it in your heart. This is one of those places. I'm so grateful to have found a team that not only provides excellent medical care but also treats every pet and owner with genuine compassion. I can't recommend them enough. Also, my cat got a certificate of bravery!!! Which is the cutest and funniest thing I've seen when visiting the vet

Because her calendar was quite full it was going to be a few weeks until it could be removed. A few days after seeing her my pup began scratching it and it started to bleed. At that point I called to see if we could come in earlier. Dr. Douglas referred us to Dr. Mahovlich who did a wonderful job. My pups after care was amazing. For about three weeks I received messages from the nurse and/or Dr. Mahovlich checking in and giving advice. Ten days after the surgery Dr. Douglas removed the stitches and even though I'm not a medical professional I can say she did a wonderful job. My pup has healed beautifully. I am actually looking forward to a life-time of care here.

Dr Berger and Nurse Berger went above and beyond to accommodate my requests, especially pre-medication, to make this a more successful outing and greatly limited the ins and outs of the room while we were there. Was Loki happy and purring? No. And she never will be... I think... Was she manageable with a step by step plan and approach? I'd say yes. And I'm very happy with what we accomplished today. Recommend to anyone that protects less sociable/introvert pets. As long as we are in ATL, we will come here for pet needs.

Instead of calling and inquiring about our whereabouts politely, we received a harsh and demanding call from Dr. Bocksted himself demanding that we return to the facility immediately. Apparently, his staff member said that it was the 'vibe' we gave off that indicated that we intended to abandon our pet (was it the fact that my girlfriend is a person of color?). Don't bother visiting this facility. The team is knowledgeable but have no social intelligence. A veterinarian is someone who you build a relationship with and must see often, so choose wisely.

In my opinion, prices are definitely on par with other vets and worth it for the services you're receiving (you can't really put a price on your dogs health). While I've noticed they definitely try to steer you towards Zoetis brand products vs. competitors for things like flea & heartworm preventatives, they're not pushy when it comes to selling products or treatments. I'm super glad they opened up a second location at Madison Yards. My dog, Maisy, loves her trips to Common Companion.

I wanted to update the review to say that I never received a response from Common Companion after I sent them a letter. They completely cut off communication so their review response on google is just faning sympathy in the public eye. Furthermore after 7 months of vigorous rehab, Silvio never regained mobility. We were faced with the hard decision to consider quality of life. His injuries were far too great to overcome and we were forced to say goodbye to him in September. This experience has been a nightmare. Please be careful when making a decision to let a vet sedate your dog. Not all vets and or techs are qualified to care of your dog when sedated.

I feel that he took advantage of my grief. He has given fine care as far as I can tell but this is just wrong. Also, they routinely give one-year vaccinations instead of 3-year unless you insist, and make no effort to consolidate appointments. So I've gotten one vaccination for my anxious, reactive dog only to get a postcard a few weeks later saying she needs a different one. Given my latest and last experience, I can only assume this is to maximize profits without consideration for the pet or owner.

Unfortunately this place has done a complete 180 over the past year or so and is no longer…read moresomewhere I can recommend. Since Dr Anderson left the customer experience and care has gone so far down hill. I am thrilled that I no longer live in Atlanta because I would be having to find a new vet for my fur kids but we have since moved out of state. Over the past year since our original vet that we saw at IPAH left to start their own practice, we did see one vet who was great but she too left right after, and a few other not so great appointment. The care level went down and was on par with any other big box vet. Not great, but the more egregious part is the customer service experience. I have a dog with epilepsy. He has been on meds for going on 2 years now. For the first 9 months he was on his meds I only needed to have it called in once from the initial diagnosis. that went on for 9 months. After he had his first follow up blood test (and once Dr. Anderson left) suddenly I had to start calling in his meds through my vet every month. That's fine but no reason given and no context. When I called the vet the frost time it happened they seemed confused and were like you have always had to do this...no. Nope. Sorry this is the forst time anyone has mentioned it. And I had picked up his meds monthly for the past 9 months without doing so. They argued with me. I didn't care and am happy to do it but that was news to me and not the experience we had been living for the first 9 months. They actually argued this point with me - but like how was I getting it f I have not been calling you? If that was something that was supposed to be explained to me it had never happened until that first call 9 months in. So that was missed...which is a pretty big deal for them as his meds are a controlled substance and legally I don't know that happened and was missed for so long. I mean it worked in my favor so I'm not complaining but its something you should know of you are thinking about becoming their patient. Since then, any time I have had to call them (for meds, a followup with questions, booking an appointment, etc) it is always multiple calls. If they don't pick up and you have to leave a VM, they will not get back to you. You will just have to call again. Multiple times have they called in my dogs meds tot h wrong pharmacy despite my having only picked it up at a singal location the entire time he has been on them. Once they actually called it into a random pharmacy in FL. I didn't tell them to do this. I didn't give them a pharmacy in FL to call it into. I don't know why and they never gave me an explanation. At my last visit which was sometime in summer 2025, we were planning a move having just bought a new home. We did not have a move date though as we were doing minor renovations to the new home. When you have a chronically ill pet you have to plan that out meticulously as there are laws surrounding his meds. The the vet I spoke to said his currently meds should be fine though January of the following year (so Jan 2026) but once we moved they could only call it in over state lines one time. All good. That was clear. We did not end up moving until Nov 2025 (well within that window Since that appointment, every time I have called in his meds it has been a battle (ans multiple calls) to get them to fill his meds. That doctor is no longer there. I have had to constantly reiterate that we were told point blank that he should be fine until Jan 2026. Well here we are in January 2026 the first time I have had to fill his prescription in FL at our new home, and they are refusing to fill it. Causing me to have to move his already scheduled appointment with his new vet. Please save yourself time and drama and go elsewhere. While this used to be a good vet that really cared about your pets they lost their best doctors and are not just an expensive boutique vet. While staff is generally friendly in person they can't seem to do the most basic elements of their job. Everything is a hassle and the manager in particular has the "customer service" voice down to a level that fells almost smug its so condescending. I would know as I have had to speak with him often. I fully expect some sort of retort to this and I wont be bothering just know you'll be saving yourself time and probably a lot of money by going elsewhere. IPAH please remove my information from your system. You have already been asked twice and I am still receiving your emails.
