Previously worked with this company for a few years, great to work with starting off from college to gain experience but they will take advantage of you where they see fit. Part of the hiring process is that you are threatened by the owners from the beginning should you "ever go after the company". Good short-term job but usually the toxic work environment will catch up to you eventually and matched with the pay, the stress is just not worth it most times. This company does billing services for a doctor I visited at Breathe Clear Institute. I was erroneously charge 3 tee times for an outstanding payment. I have called them for almost 2 months now and every time I get the same story, which is that the issue is being escalated and will be resolved. Of course, nothing has been refunded to date and I have to waste valuable time calling them and following up only to get the same story each time. It's the most frustrating billing company I've ever had to work with. Totally and completely incompetent. read more

This company manages billing services for a doctor I visited ONE time for a small co-payment. I made a credit card payment promptly via their mail option. They erroneously decided to charged my card twice (2x). When I tried to call them to explain they had incorrectly charged me 2x and to refund one of the payments they asked me to send them my credit card statement. Apparently, they have no way (or too lazy) to search their records. I legitimately thought of sending them an edited statement with 30 charges to see if they refunded them. They are too incompetent to realize a PDF can be easily edited and they should review their records instead. To add insult to injury, even though I was able to resolve the double charge directly with the doctor this billing company charged my card incorrectly 2x, but also never applied the payment correctly. Which meant I continued receiving invoices. Incompetence to a whole new level. read more

I was employed from 11/2020-3/2021, & was let go without a reason. I did everything in my power to help educate myself to be a good employee, but I'm not sure what else I could have done better. My coworker who trained me 1:1 insulted me multiple times and I just sat there and took it like an adult without being disrespectful towards her, it was such a shame. It got to the point where one of my other coworkers brought it up to my attention that how she was treating me wasn't right. I just wished that they told me why I was being let go so that I could improve myself moving forward. I have had very positive experiences dealing with this company - nothing but professional, courteous interactions. This review is based on my experience with my personal medical bills with which I've never had issues with. I understand that people may fall on hard times but writing negative reviews of the medical billing company seems ludicrous. Their focus is on management and billing not on creating payment plans or forgiving debts. It simply is not in their job description. They process bills in a timely manner. I have not had any discrepancies or items billed which I did not incur and when I need to make a payment, the process is simple and straightforward. I initially started as a part time worker then decided to become a full time worker because I like the friendly environment, and managers and the owners are very supportive. I learned to see the big picture of how the medical billings are processed from the beginning until the payments are collected. I also enjoy having some positive co-workers around everyday. This review has to do with their incompetent, rude, disrespectful and non compassionate group of medical billers. I have never experienced a group of women (Brandy, Crystal (Manager) and Sarah (Supervisor) )who have been so rude when dealing with a patient in regards to a medical bill. I Finally spoke to the supervisor, Sarah who could careless about the situation my family was experiencing. I highly recommend anymore needing a procedure to GO ELSEWHERE, DO NOT GO TO PEC. If you cannot pay their fees Immediatley they will threaten to turn you to collections. This is a tough world we live in financially and everyone is struggling, they don't seem to care about that though. I am so sadden by the medical billing company (Pacific Medical Management) that it has put an extremely bad taste in my mouth and I have told our family, friends, colleagues and neighbors to not go to PEC because of their billing management company. Adding to the got mess of a team over at Pacific Medical Management... Spoke with Kim this morning and apparently her computer was not working properly and had to have a coworker check to make sure my payment was received; guess who that coworker was... Crystal. Huh, the "manager" I originally spoke to. I also asked why statements have not been received and she verified my address yet nothing has been received. I told Kim that I signed up to have my statements sent via email. She said they cannot send statements through email. Wow, this is evidence that they have no clue what they are doing. I told Kim that information on their gatewayedi program needs to be looked at and changed because it is misleading to patients who pay online. She said she mentioned it to her manager... Extremely horrible experience with Dr. Sunny and Dr. Ron Meledez, their office staff and billing company were awful. I had standard blood work done in 2015. Labcorps sent me my bill and I paid. Dr. Meledez never sent me any bills, nor did I receive any EOB's from my insurance company. FOUR YEARS LATER, a collection agency has called me to tell me I owe them $529 for my visit in 2015! WHAT?? This must be a SCAM. I researched the collection company, Cedar Collections, which had horrible reviews. I called the doctor's office, they referred me to the billing company Pac Med Services (which also has horrible reviews). They shared with me a ledger that had no description of the Doctor's office, no physical address, just says I owe $529...AGAIN SCREAMS SCAM!!! I asked them if it was standard business practice to wait 4 years to bill someone and send them straight to collections. After further research and review with my insurance company Anthem Blue Cross (thank goodness for them), my insurance company confirmed the doctor never billed them and were trying to bill me directly for the full amount!!! Obviously, after 4 years my insurance will not accept a claim from them, therefore they had to drop the charges. My insurance company called to confirm this and shared the billing company would be sending a follow up. GUESS WHAT...NO FOLLOW UP!!! I am still trying to get them to send me an updated account balance and remove me from collections! This is horrible billing practices! I would not recommend using these doctors. In addition, my experience 4 years ago with the actual doctor's had them pushing very strong medication on me for NO REASON!! STAY AWAY!! read more
