This facility and people who works here are great; however, billing department is awful.
I believe they use third company to handle their billing system and the third party is so unprofessional.
I had a surgery in Sep and paid my potion at the time of the surgery. My insurance paid everything except Pacific Surgery Center.
Pacific Surgery Center send me the bill, so I called the number on the bill telling
First, they told me that they do not handle this facility anymore, so gave me the different phone number and I called the number they gave to me.
Well, found out that they misunderstood the facility name and just gave me the different number
instead of confirming the account number or facility location before they directed to the different company.
I called Pacific Surgery Center billing department again explaining that they need to send claim to my insurance company.
Pacific Surgery Center billing department sent incorrect claim form to my insurance company, so my insurance denied. I called my insurance company and they called PSC billing department again asking to submit correct claim form.
They took forever to resubmit correct claim form.
During the process, I received bill from collection agency.
Finally my insurance company paid Pacific Surgery Center, so I need to call PSC billing department to make sure they close the my account with collection agency.
It is so unfortunate that this facility are so great, but because of the billing department, I will not have any surgery at the facility in the future. read more
