Food is always fresh and fast! Best tasting chips and salsa in the area. A must for that Mexican flair.

Hey friends! I went out with some new coworkers to this cool spot downtown…read more This spot is the rose that grew from concrete. Bristol is a rural town but certain areas are becoming more chic, such as this rooftop bar. I ordered a brown sugar old fashioned to start with. It was AMAZING. I would definitely recreate it at home, the flavors balance perfectly. For my entree, I had the chicken sandwich. The batter was perfectly crispy and seasoned well. I like that they use chicken thighs, which are juicy and makes for a delicious sandwich. Fries were okay, I wish they weren't steak fries. +Our server was friendly! She recommended great menu items. +Limited parking +Outdoor seating with a beautiful overlook of the city. Indoor seating as well. +Prices are a little above average. +Restaurant was clean and well stocked. I hope enjoy!

Hands down, people, this is the best bar in Bristol. Why?…read more Happy Hour! M-F from 2-5pm, all the Shareables are 50% off and drinks are really discounted! It's a really great way to try the food! Food (5/5): Elevated bar food! The kitchen from the downstairs restaurant, Vivian's Table, makes the food and it is really delicious. We tried the popcorn shrimp, which are breaded and crispy. Really great. We of course, had to try the Mountain of fries - these are matchstick fries and the best part was the three different sauces that come with it. The chipotle ketchup was my favorite. We also tried the wings, which were good..I am not a huge wing fan, though. The jalapeno poppers (wrapped in bacon with a cheese filing) were great, as were the steak nachos. And of course, the hummus with the fry bread was great, too. My hubby liked the hazy IPA that was on draft. Even better at $3.50 a pint during Happy Hour. I really liked the cocktails - some of my favorite was a new espresso based tequila (for the summer menu) and the creamsicle. Service (5/5): Everyone up here is super nice - the manager Landry, bartender Raine and all the servers were really fantastic. Ambiance (5/5): Location - This is the top of the Bristol Hotel, and one of the only rooftop bars in Bristol. From the top you have a lovely view of the famous Bristol sign, great when it lights up at night.

It wasn't that bad…read more The reason I went there is because I want beers. Unfortunately they don't have that many craft beers as I would except it as according to the menu. So I had the June beer (their special month). It wasn't that bad. Then I had Chip abd Dip. I couldn't stop eating because it was delicious. Then I had Morning Glory Burger, i didnt except to be that big and messy. But it was good. The service wasn't too bad. The ambiance was okay, just a little loud. Parking was easy.

Sadly, our server (I believe it was Emma - hard to see because she was so quick to bolt by), was very inattentive. When we placed our drink orders she asked orders for each of the other three in our party - even asked my husband twice - and was about to leave our table before I had to stop her to ask her for a drink. My BLT salad with salmon was rather flat - the chopped veggie situation was nice but dressing was bland even after asking for lemon when no balsamic was available. Salmon was cooked nicely. But what made me write my review is that first, I had to get up to ask a manager for something for the salad after trying four times to catch our server's attention. Then she came to our table mid-meal - genuinely while my daughter in law and I were only halfway through our entrees - to ask us to check out. My husband was in the restroom and I had to ask her to wait until he returned! After many years in service, this was very off-putting and should be a no-brainer. She did ask a couple if times on-the-go if we needed anything, but these issues made that feel like an after-thought. Hubby loves Drake's so I'm sure we will return, but honestly would probably ask for a different server.

We placed our drink order then after a bit another server checked on us and we said we'd ordered drinks and she asked about menus. Brought us one and we ordered food. The burger was very OK and the beer cheese app we ordered came out with the burger. The beer cheese was cold and gritty. We'd heard great things about this place but after $35 for a beer, sweet tea, beer cheese app and burger with onion rings it's a no for me. The decor and such is pretty neat but we just went to eat this time not play any games.

Terrible experience! We ere sat by the hostess and it took 10 minutes for our server (who was busy…read moretalking to other staff the whole time) to come take out drink order. We then waited 15-20 minutes for her to take our food order because she said "the other girl hit me with a tennis racket" (not joking). We ordered the fried pickles two different pizzas and nachos and the pickles were the only half way decent thing. The nachos were laughably bad and the pizza was under baked, crust was terrible and overall bland. We had to ask our server for literally everything (including plates for our shared food) and she never once asked how our food was. We asked for our check before we were even half way finished with our food because our server disappeared for 20-30 minutes every time and we also noticed that the table next to us walked out without even drinking their beers and food menus still down since no one even went to take their food order. Mind you there were maybe 3 tables including us and a few bar guests in this whole place on a Saturday at 7pm and I see why now. Overall one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time.
