This is a new addition to Battersea Park, with a nice selection of Italian groceries. Upstairs is a small deli with wines (corkage fee is less than £4 if you want to drink one of their wines onsite), marinated vegetables, and fresh coffee. In the ground floor is a small deli with sandwiches, homemade pastas and desserts. Downstairs is a small dining room with a projector screening Sophia Loren movies on the wall!
The food here is delicious - clearly made in house and with care. Although the caponata texture was off, due to being a reheated choice from the deli counter, the flavour was wonderful. In addition, the bread used for the panino was of high quality. All in all, a much needed Italian cafe option in an area bereft of them. Worth a stop in to warm up with a coffee and cannoli or plate of pasta after a long walk through Battersea Park. read more
