She's not snobby or pretentious but keeps up on trends and will give you exactly what you ask for. As a bonus, she's personable, friendly. The conversation always goes two ways. No one likes talking to a wall or getting talked over while your at the beauty shop. I know it sounds too good to be true and I'm gushing so I'll tell you what might turn some people away. The shop is small, sometimes elderly women get their hair done there, and there isn't much "flash" going on in there. She has helped me understand the science behind coloring and why box color is so harsh on hair (I'm a chemist, so I absolutely love learning the science behind everyday things!).
