We had such a great visit on a rainy day. We did walk in hours on a Monday. We arrived shortly after they opened and were able to get started right away. There are plenty of options for walk ins. Canvas, ceramics, wood items. Since it was not an instructor led project we were given detailed instructions that were very easy to follow. The staff set up our area with the canvases we selected and one ceramic project. All the supplies were laid out as well. We had plenty of room to work and chat. My kids joined me: ages 15 and 11 Our artwork did not turn out like the sample, but made for some great laughs and excellent memories. Somehow my beach scene took on the resemblance of a frog or some creature. who knew making a shadow on the water would be so hard. I look forward to visiting again. This was my first time here. I've been to one before in Georgia. My friend invited me and her coworker out here. It was such a nice outing and a good way to start the weekend. The class was pretty full. We painted a beach scene with the artist painting the pic being viewable via TV. That was different but welcomed. You can bring your own wine and snacks. We had wine, cheese and crackers. It was really fun! They selected a few folks from a gameplay and they won pictures. Those celebrating were brought on the stage and were given gifts! One of my bonus daughters and I went to pop in and paint and you can walk in (hours are on their site), but we made a reservation just to make sure we had space. When we got there, Cathy is the one who helped us out and she was so amazing. She showed us everything we could do from choosing a piece to paint, pottery piece, wooden piece or make a candle. They have the prices for each piece if you choose a pottery or wooden choice. And the paintings are $37. Once you decide, you go to the counter to pay and the staff will help you get set up. They have racks to put your purses/bags and jackets. I chose a wooden tray ($27) and my baby chose a tulip piece to paint. We had another lady name Ruby who also assisted us and she got us the paints we needed and was very helpful choosing the colors. They walked around if we needed help and suggestions. They had wine if you wanted to have a drink. The music they had was very and upbeat. There was another couple there that we interacted with and they were so fun. We spent about 3 hours there because my baby loves to take her time so towards the end, she wanted me to help her paint the tulips and it came out so beautifully (mind you she's 7). They kept saying how artistic she is, which she is ! She's such an amazing artist. My boyfriend and I took a couples painting class for date night. And we had so much fun that my boyfriend was already telling me "We should come back" even before we left lol! They did an amazing job explaining and helping out in detail. The class was full, and they also gave gifts to people who were celebrating their birthdays. A few weeks ago I took a family class here with my daughter and my boyfriend's daughter whom are both 9 years old. We had a ton of fun. The class was great and the teacher was awesome as well. Easy instructions explained well and the teacher helped if someone needed it. I loved her sense of humor as well. We definitely will be back again! read more

I am a breast cancer survivor and attended 'Painting with a Twist's Vera Bradley Foundation Breast Cancer fundraiser. This was my second visit to PWAT, but the first time I came with a friend. This time I was alone and worried I wouldn't have as much fun. Boy was I wrong! With great music, ice-breakers, and even fun games, it was a blast! I even danced on the stage! Who knew! I had never painted a picture before coming to PWAT but the artist takes you through the process step by step with plenty of help from attentive staff. It was a very entertaining 3 hours and I came home with a lovely picture that now graces my kitchen wall. read more

So much fun! Instructor was nice and helpful and the other man working that night showed us around and helped us plan our next trip back. They even played games for prizes while we waited on our canvases to dry. I'm not the best painter but we were so entertained. Great girls night out thanks to this business. Where to even begin.... Attended a supposedly "fun" painting event for one of my dear friends...and it was more stress than anything. To start off, both owners a male and a female were there. they would NOT let the host and her daughter in 5 mins early to set up a bridal table with desserts and food, they made them wait until exactly the minute they booked the place and everyone was rushing to set up frantically before the guests came in. The tone was very threatening "you CANNOT come in. Do you understand? Stay outside until 2:30." Absolutely heartless, ice cold. The host and daughter were standing outside in the 100 degree weather. The male owner was exceptionally rude to the elderly people walking in with heavy presents for the bride, demanding they pull up their masks, probably 6 times in a row, again with a loud threatening tone, no greeting upon entrance whatsoever. Also he did not let you past him until you signed in. Physically wouldn't let you in the space. I know we are in a pandemic, but come on dude, maybe offer to take the heavy object from the ladies so they can obey your orders? Next, there was a small child with her mom that was going to sit next to her mom and watch (not paint), well they certainly didn't like that. They MADE the host pay for the 9 year old to paint instead of just sitting there quietly next to her mom The whole time. Talk about money obsessed, the mom and little girl were mortified And made a fool of. Also, there were 2 guests that did not show for the bridal shower, so how about out the daughter in one of the empty seats so she could sit? Nope that would be too easy. The lady owner was obsessed with us getting out of there by 5:30, brought it up several times while we were painting. Just weird. We get it, we are paying customers and you want us out when we're done. Trust me...we got the message. They all the sudden got very lively and "friendly" during the actual painting, it was completely fake and very obvious they know how to put on a show. Poor attitude, poor hospitality, money obsessed. Just a disgrace. As soon as 5:30 hit, they were basically escorting us out the door and never said goodbye. Will NEVER come back. I'm mortified that we attempted to have a nice time here and gave this place our business. read more

-1 Star. Friend signed us up for event...she couldn't go so she advised them I would be going and bringing my 12 year old granddaughter. We drove an hour in hellish 5 o'clock traffic - she was so excited. We get inside and the managers VERY LOUDLY ASKED how old my grand was to which I answered 12 going on 30. Again, with 10 people standing around us they state she can't paint or stay as they are serving wine. She was embarrassed already so I just said a few disappointing remarks and left. I've been there 4 -5 times. I'll NEVER GO BACK. Should have told us when we signed up! Poor management.Poor customer service. My poor embarrassed Darlin. Could have been handled quietly and with more courtesy. SHAME ON YOU read more

This class was so fun and the perfect surprise for my best friend's birthday present! We had a blast the instructors were so friendly and helpful. We both loved our paintings even though we are not skilled at painting. For a good time and something different I would recommend attending a class here! read more

What can I say about Painting with a Twist and the LOVELY husband and wife couple that run it? EVERYTHING! I used this location for my 30th birthday, and even though it was like herding kittens to get my guests to sign up on time, Ms. Kathy and her team made my birthday party rock! We had the main room and Imani was our instructor. We painted a "Corona" bottle on the beach and everyone in my party was encouraged to make their painting their own. Unbeknownst to, but greatly appreciated by me, they had a game for my guests to play where they won one of the stock paintings that were hanging around the shop. They also had a "Spin the Wheel" game and a "hot potato" like game that we played during our breaks. Even though I had bought my own food and adult beverages for my guests, they assisted with the clean up and the room was back to normal like nothing had happened within 15 minutes. I am TOTALLY looking forward to going back and painting a different picture soon. read more
