I'm so glad that we have a studio like this close to our place. We went here for my daughter's birthday party and they had a complete blast. Not necessarily my thing, but hey, I'm just the guy fronting the bill for a happy child. The pricing was very fair in my opinion and they did a great job of ensuring all the kids had fun and were coordinated (tough) in their work. The facility was quaint and just enough to be perfect for hosting the event and allowing customers to come in. I'm sure we'll be back but the first line of my review was told to me by the person working. We were greeted by Kathy the owner along w/ her husband who does all of the woodwork. Such a sweet couple and so accommodating. We were allowed to bring snacks so we had a charcuterie board, cooler w/ drinks, and a birthday cake! We were the only people booked for this day which was perfect. I'm pretty sure we overstayed our welcome but Kathy and her husband were totally chill. We all had such a great time and loved that we were able to take our crafts with us. With the husband doing all the wood work, they accommodate custom orders. I certainly plan on returning.

They helped inspire many of us with the existing clay art around us. There were so many tools to choose from too. The instructors were really helpful and nice. They helped my daughter build her creation. We got so much clay that we were able to build 2-5 creations. They offered a variety of free drinks while we create. It was just so much fun. We had to return another to glaze our art which was at our flexibility. There were so many glazes to choose from too. Then after our art pieces were glazed, we picked up our art all packaged up safely. This place is perfectly located in a nice shopping center. With easy parking. It clean for an art studio. There were so many tools available. The staff are very knowledgeable. It's also decorated very cute inside. My daughter and I can't wait to return. Cherry is my type of people- she has energetic, creative soul, great music selection and had a great personality. Cherry gave me a gift for booking the private party and I was honestly shocked with all the awesome stuff I received. Custom rolling papers, a pre-roll, a dugout, branded sticker & air freshener, candy, a gel pen that lit up in the black light and a glow stick- because, helloOoo party!! The space reminded me of the cafes in Amsterdam - smelled like heaven and is filled with awesome merch & paintings. Cherry had drinks and light snacks available but said we could bring whatever we wanted. BYO- drinks, snacks, stash, pre-rolls, vapes, etc. We ended up doing a mystery paint pick- so much fun! We picked our themes, brainstormed and Cherry sketched out a draft of what we were painting. 5 hours later .. we were stoned lil artists ready for a fresh canvas and felt like Cherry was our long-time friend. After being late, she passed out paint, materials, aprons, etc... Unfortunately, she didn't bring any brushes. Only because our hostess had four young children, was she able to find a smattering of kid brushes upstairs. Additionally, we were short one canvas. I don't know what would have happened if Andrea wasn't saved from the debacle of not having brushes. The evening probably would have been ruined; Andrea kept repeating that it took her 90 minutes to drive to Currituck, and that she had a 90-minute drive back to the business. Andrea did point out that whoever packed the materials had forgotten the brushes. That may be true; however, someone should have caught that error. It's akin to going to a baseball game and forgetting the bats. The good news is that, overall, the birthday party was enjoyable, and I do think the idea of the "Inspired Canvasses" is an excellent one. As a University Art professor, I think it's a great business model, and I wish them tremendous success in the future.
