Modern vibes at its finest. They have also individual pods that has little bit of privacy. The bathroom is huge and clean! Service: they are nice. They are not like the other lounge that ignores you. They assist you on your flights! Food: This is the best here! The food here is amazing! Most of them are Filipino foods. They have pancit and pork humba! I came back multiple times because its soo good! Definitely will come here if I visited Mactan Airport again! Very comfortable and the food was great!

Though relatively small, this airport feels surprisingly spacious. The staff here are friendly and helpful. While they can be strict at the entrance when checking tickets, I was overall impressed with service throughout. A helpful airport porter helped us with our luggage and check in, making sure we were well taken care of. I also thought found the staff at the STARLUX counter to be accommodating and helpful. The airport is clean, organized and stress free. I enjoyed exploring the shopping areas and eateries, which made the wait time pleasant. Overall Mactan-Cebu International Airport left a positive impression.

It seems like everybody has issues when they get up to the counter. The airport is not comfortable: the airport lack air conditioning in some areas and other areas it is working poorly. The seating is very limited, especially around the gates. More seating is available in the food area but you will end up smelling like food when you leave. The airport does have a lot of places to eat and shops. The shops are not too exciting but you can find cosmetic stores, nick knacks, mango shops and more. Enough to keep you busy for a while. The airport does have free wi-fi too.

There are a few food stalls to score snacks and drinks if you have time to kill while waiting for your flight (like we did.) I even got to discover some cool snacks like sarisa chips (see attached pic.) I overheard another passenger nearby saying this airport is known for sitings of Filipino celebrities. Sure enough, someone in my party spotted a famous influencer walk by. Good (first) arrival and departure runs!

As i was checking in, and sadly i was really overweight with my carry-on. They were so patient with me that I was able to take apart my bag, make another bag and check in two bags instead. So I was successful with that. I also wanted to point out that just last June, they were able to finish the renovation of the space that now became the Mabuhay Lounge. Head over towards the left as you get past the scanners. I immediately dove in to make my own arroz caldo. They have a fridge well-stocked of sweets and sodas. Its a little tight - small space; counting the lounge seating in the back. Am i coming back? Of course. Im always happy coming home and I look forward to coming back after i leave.

Happy Hour is from 5pm to 7pm! Everybody liked the food. I cannot comment on what most of the family ate because I only had the food from the buffet. There were many entree choices at the buffet. Something for everyone. Specifically, my favorites were the chop suey and the grilled shrimp on the skewers. Staff and entertainment were terrific. The woman singing did a nice job. The staff were friendly and for the most part kept refilling the buffet food. Only thing they did a bad job refilling was the dessert. Room 801 is a fine dining option if you are in this area of Cebu. Give them a try.

When the orders came the nice waiter which happens to be a promoter/host of Room 801 delivered a glass of cocktail on the house saying he felt bad if my friends would be drinking and I'll only have water. That was really a nice gesture. I ordered for crab cakes and it taste really good! I would recommend this place to everyone who would be visiting Cebu or to any local cebuanos looking for a nice place to chill. It's great for dates too! Great views!
