What made Kinfolk unique and special is the owners. Mrs. Williams was accommodating, flexible, understanding, responsive, and very attentive. We were able to fully customize our experience to our liking rather than to fit it around some owner's overly restrictive and expensive idea of a special occasion. Not everyone is looking for some giant space for their baby shower. It is supposed to be an intimate affair after all. And more importantly, it's your day not theirs. The location is new, clean, beautiful and well maintained. It has a beautiful bathroom, outdoor space, kitchen area, wifi and a sound system is available for an additional fee. I was here for an event last winter but this was my first time getting to really move around inside. The game was shown from a projector across the entire wall space. Bartenders were generous and gave the crowd endless flavored shots. The sound quality and lighting was on point. After the game ended, we moved outside to the backyard area. A really cool chef was on the grill serving everything and it was all delicious. I ordered grilled steak with spinach and macaroni. Wonderful night. I would definitely go back for another event. These young ladies have dedicated up to 13 years to Girl Scouting and have been friends/sisters to each other through the majority of this journey. What stood out the most, however, was the attentiveness and professionalism of your security staff and a gentleman I believe to be the manager or possibly the owner--Hasim or Hassan. A member of our party was not feeling well, and the staff responded immediately and with genuine concern. Security approached quickly, checked in, and asked whether an ambulance was needed. These are standard procedures, but as we all know, they aren't always handled so smoothly. The manager came over shortly after, took her vitals, brought water and ice, and even moved a large commercial fan to help her cool down. He returned with candy and remained attentive throughout--kind, responsive, and truly caring. It didn't feel like he was doing it out of obligation, but from a place of genuine concern. It's easy to overlook these moments, but I wanted to say thank you. Your team turned what could have been a scary situation into a moment that highlighted compassion and professionalism. Much respect!
