One of the partners of this firm, EDMUND SWEETMAN really let our family down. He acted as a…read moresolicitor for the purchase of our home in 2014 but the transaction was carried out in error causing us to owe a large tax debt. It hasn't been discovered who was at fault but he resigned as our solicitor when we needed him most. It was very abrupt and he sent a burofax (which is a kind of formal legal notification) citing conflict of interest. We felt well represented by him and trusted him and will never forgive being disappointed and abandoned in this way. On two occasions he acted unprofessionally by unintentionally forwarding private internal firm emails to us, one on the subject of what fees we would be charged (this made for very unsavoury reading). I would not recommend using a firm where he is a partner.
