LOL! ROFL! LMAO! Bwahaha! This is such an awesome statue!…read moreGrab a seat on the sofa between these two uproariously funny guys along the main drag in Buenos Aires! These guys had somber faces before I came along, but once they read my reviews, they have been cracking up ever since! I'd be weary of asking a fellow on the street to take your picture while you sit on the sofa between these two comedic acts. But while you sit there, it looks like you're next on a talk show or something. These two were apparently tv stars in Argentina in the 1980's. Forgive me if I've never heard of them. It's a fun statue, which is a cool place for a photo opp, but I wouldn't go out of my way to see it. It's in a real happening side of town where they close off half the street on the weekends for the theaters which abound in close proximity to this statue. In the streets around this statue, you'll find lots of street performers and bookstores around the theaters that surround this statue. You can't pose next to this statue without laughing! LOL!

I wouldn't roll out of bed to see this landmark, but it's such a pretty sight on your way to the…read moreRosedal (rose garden), Planetarium or just the general area of the bosques de Palermo. In my opinion, it looks extra lovely at night with that soft lilac glow, but it's pretty impressive during the day as well. I feel like it's sort of a shame that it's located in an area with heavy traffic (please be extra careful crossing the street here!) but it does present a good opportunity for a picture while you're waiting for the light to change.
