I would give them a 5 but they need to get bumpers and new ball ramps so the littles can have fun bowling! Otherwise, it was a good spot - folks are friendly and the prices are very reasonable. My grandson and I still managed to have a pretty good time. read more

Overall my boyfriend and I were very impressed. We were camping in lake Corpus Christi and decided to take the short drive to Alice for bowling. We paid $18 for the two of us to bowl 2 games. It seemed a little pricey to me, but we're from Austin, so prices may be different. We also picked up some nachos after our game and they were delicious! I'm so used to weird bar food at bowling alleys, but that's not the case with these guys. When I ordered the nachos I expected circle tortilla chips with yellow cheese sauce drizzled all over it, that's not even close to what we got. We got actual tortilla chips that they stuck in the oven and let the cheese melt, throwing lettuce and tomatoes on top. It was a great snack! They also had an awesome mini arcade with Ms. PacMan. I unfortunately didn't have any change, but we're planning on coming back the next time we're in town. read more

Just drove from Corpus Christi to visit the Pro Shop at Paladium Bowl (Corpus Christi doesn't have one. Can you believe it?) Bought a new bowling ball! Chris was great! He took time to explain the differences in various balls and once I chose one he measured my hand and drilled the holes while I waited. It didn't stop there. He took me out to one of the lanes so I could bowl a game to make sure I was happy with it. He even gave me some great pointers to help me improve my bowling scores. read more

Paladium Bowl has been around since 1960. However, it wasn't until 1984 that the current owners and brothers, Chris and Mike Whitty, took over the business. Since then, they have updated the scoring systems four times to keep up with the newest trends and continue an out-of-this-world bowling/dining experience. Famous for their nachos, burgers, and club sandwiches, the Paladium Bowl Cafe has become one of the most famous places to eat and have birthday parties in Alice, TX.

Hamburger bun was burned all the way and so were cheese sticks and curly fries. I showed the person in the front counter taking care of shoes and he only said next time let them know he would talk to them. My son did not want to make a big deal so I left it alone. I have been goi.g.rhwre a ling.time and this has never happened. May 25th 2026. Whoever was there cooking needs to leave. Or pay attention. I respect the bowling alley and owners.
