I forgot my glasses and my purse on the table and they brought both to me. The rooms were cleaned and it was ok as the only complain i have were the towels. The last two days they were clean yes - but torn and very old. I did tell the reception lady, she appologized but since there were complains before i guess it does not help. The food was good, yes a lot of fish but they always had other foods as a choice. The seafood was very good the shrimps fresh and very tasty. The desert was mostly fruit but the best i had in a long time, fresh juicy and sweet. I even liked the morning coffee, half coffee half hot milk - maybe because i been in the caribbean islands a lot - they drink their coffee like that. Breakfast was good.....they had about 4 choices of cold cuts, some bread, rolls, croisants, some choices of cakes and fresh fruit. Then the cereals and jogourt. It was always enough for me and i never left the table hungry :-))). The garden is kept beautiful, the view is stunning. The pool is also kept clean and one can relax and have snacks and drinks all day. Their bus service was good, we had no problems as the driver was always on time. They do have some trips you can book, we had 3 trips in our package. The lady that was our guide was so knowledgable it was amazing.. At the reception there was always somebody that spoke english or some german, we always got our message across. All in all it was a nice vacation.

The public areas are modern and clean with the rooms slightly dated and basic, but again clean and well kept. The food was good and very good in choice and quantity. I would call the dishes simple, but tasty. The location is somewhat remote but walk able to the local station and shops.

The room I stayed in was a good size and had a huge wash room as well. The bed was way more comfortable then the bed I slept in the previous few nights in Rome as well (although getting on it was fairly loud). In the morning the hotel offers free breakfast and juice and has plenty of parking right out front as well. If you plan on spending a few nights in Pianopoli I definitely recommend staying then here, they will make you feel right at home.

The Jr. suite was fantastic, it was split level with with a patio that overlooked the ocean. The suite was also adjacent to the breakfast area which was served out on the neighboring patio. The suite also came with goodies in the refrigerator. My only warning is that there were very few people who spoke English here in Calabria so check-in was a little awkward but I seemed to manage just fine. Also parking was a little difficult, the buildings were very close together so there wasn't much room to drive. This location is ideal if you are visiting Tropea which is about a 30 minute drive and I highly recommend visiting the Church of Piedigrotta while you are in town, absolutely incredible and not far from this hotel!
