We stopped into Palermo's Pizza after the Cardinals game, and honestly, it ended up being the best execution of the entire day. After watching the team's lethargic offense, this was the pick-me-up we needed. The pizza was outstanding. True New York-style with homemade dough, a great crisp to the crust, and toppings that actually hit. You can taste the care in every slice. You are absolutely correct, they did give an extended time frame which was 90-120 mins. Unfortunately, that turned into 3 hrs.. The problem is the items that were purchased sat in your shop for those three hours.. the extended wait wasn't necessarily on the product as it was, getting a driver to your shop to then deliver. I was fine with that because I understood the eventful day. I unfortunately assumed that the shop would've correlated with that time frame and not had a cold, dried up product delivered to your customer so if you cared enough like you mentioned, something like that would have never happened. read more

Just received our uber eats and sadly was disappointed in the food quality. The wings and zucchini were over cooked, dry and barely edible. Had strong burnt taste ....the pizza was ok but ordered a pepperoni and added sausage and the sausage was a weird shredded sausage?! Or maybe it was a mistake and was bacon? The cheese tasted odd and the crust was way too feathery for lack of a better word. No flavor in the sauce either. Luckily, this disaster only set me back 5 bucks. One slice and a half has been fed to the birds in the parking lot. What a fraud. If you can't see the slices, walk out. The pizza probably was sitting for awhile. We used to go here years ago (early 2000's). When I first met my husband (from the Bronx) he said the thing he hated most about AZ was "There's no good pizza." I told him I knew of a spot that had the best pizza and wings in the valley. He thought I was full of it, but he agreed to humor me and give it a shot. We went and he order a slice and a dozen wings. He was hooked. After that, once a week, we would order an extra large cheese and 25 wings. I just wonder if the old owners are still there. Place looked a bit old but ok. Pizza and wings were spectacular. Just amazing. It was our first time. You have Buffalo Wild Wings, Buffalo stop. Nah they're garbage compared to this place. I cannot believe I have not left a review from this place, I absolutely love them, we've become a regular and we're always pleased with their food. We've never have had any issues and their service is on point. Palermos pizza has very friendly staff and a nice dining room. Unfortunately, the pizza was terribly dreadful and so was the sampler platter. Upon opening up the pizza there was a strange smell coming off of it. Through consumption, I believe the dough they used was old or just a bad recipe. Unfortunately through away the pizza after trying to eat 2 slices. As for the sampler platter, I was not a fan of the batter they used to fry. The platter was just bland in flavor. I'm sorry to say I will not return to Palermos Pizza. I do applaud you though Palermos for trying to beat out such pizza chains like papa johns or dominos. My husband and I ordered from here and Matt the owner didn't put any sauce on our pizza , I couldn't even eat it, it was disgusting! This is the number one place for pizza and wings. The wings are so crisp & empowering with flavor, gosh it's the best! The entire recipe for the pizza is homemade, the crust is so fresh, with a light crisp. It is a bit pricy but most definitely worth every penny! The portions are huge and fulfilling. I would like to apologize for this extended review of Palermos Pizza but I believe they deserve it! Well...we did take out this busy Tues. evening, around 5pm. at Palermos Pizza. We usually go to Little Caesars Pizza because it's quick, inexpensive and pizza was hot and convenient. This was my first time here at Palermos and let me tell you, if you like NY style pizza, this your place. I sure do! You could immediately taste the difference on first bite but I'm not knocking LCP at all. When you're tired and you're hungry, Little Caesars comes in mighty handy. I'm a retired Vietnam veteran and I'm not too picky of what I eat .We ordered a large pepperoni pizza at Palermos and it tasted of all fresh ingredients. Real mozzarella cheese, fresh homemade dough and plenty of real Italian pepperonis and tomato sauce. When we got home and opened the box I could tell we were in for a treat! ( just as the owners predicted ) The aroma was like I had my head in the pizza oven. Well..to say the least, there were only 2 slices left between my wife and I. She didn't care too much for the pizza because she said it was too greasy. I ate the majority of them. Yes, it was greasy,..just the way I like it! Was able to fold the slices just like they do in New York! Ha ha. When I noticed that the slices were getting low, I was sad that my euphoria was about to end, so I savored my last few delicious, greasy bites. Coming from from the Philadelphia area where there are many neighborhood pizza joints, this is like being home. They truly make you feel like you are part of the family!
