Cost is more than double, less crowds entering, This is a huge boon to each and every business their, and in surrounding areas, including Grand Junction. Think about the impact, with 4,000 less people supporting ancillary restaurants, gas, stores etc. That's big, Frankly the modest chaos of the crowd was very fun, with new and different vendors coming in(Club Mud). Never not had the chance to taste what we wanted. Sorry to say my family won't be coming from SLC this year. Hope things change back 2027

I'll begin by saying I'm a big fan of wine, just not particularly Colorado wines. Colorado…read morewineries are definitely making strides to make better wines, but unfortunately I feel too many of them try to charge more because they're Colorado wines and you can find much better wines at the same or cheaper prices from other parts of the world. Having said that, this event is a blast. There is a guest chef dinner with Colorado wine pairings, a party in the park where most Colorado wineries are serving their wines. (please use a cooler for the wines people) You can taste everything from peach wine to riesling to cab sauvignon. Some wineries are using grapes from elsewhere while others are using grapes grown primarily on the Western slope whereas others still are using grapes grown in the city of Denver. You have the opportunity to taste a LOT of wine, so make sure to have a DD or a person sobering up over lunch if you'll be there all day. Ironically, a lot of the wines we tasted later in the day were very good compared to the morning's tastings? Coincidence, palate fatigue, or plain-out drunkedness?

My wife and I have been doing a wood ministry for the elderly people on the Navajo reservation for the past three years. We acquire firewood, some donated, some we buy, we load up our trailer and go distribute it at different homes within the Navajo reservation. In September we received a trailer load ( 3.5 cords )of split firewood from Mitch at this business; Noble Tree Service in Las Vegas, NV. https://yelp.to/qTKq/g8xwvRzj50 for distribution to the elderly people. A close friend of mine lives in Grand Junction, Colo. stated he wanted to help. Jason Harris works at Dan's towing and he contacted the ladies of this place and they donated firewood and fresh peaches on October 10, 2019. The firewood and fresh peaches went to a family of a Vietnam veteran, a recently widowed lady and several other families. Some received just peaches, a few received firewood, a couple received both. Thank YOU, Leslie, Carey & Debbie . Update: we went back for more, 10-26-19, bought some more peaches as the season progresses to a close. We're already planning a run for cherries in June 2020. Thank you, Carol and Shade . Back to Vegas we go.

Corn was terrible. Once shucked it was small kernels and more like feed. Service was unhelpful and not overly friendly. There are several other places to visit for fresh produce. Won't return.

This lovely shop carries a variety of items - we bought lavender plants and some flavored balsamic vinegars and oils but they have many more items. The plants are thriving and we've been enjoying the vinegars and oil. Recently, I tried drizzling strawberry basil vinegar over half my mozzarella Caprese salad and tangerine over the other half. My guests loved the flavors. Today we decided to add more flavors to our pantry. The proprietresses were extremely helpful. We tried many flavors and flavor combinations and were given great ideas on which foods went best with them. We also found a spice blend that is flavorful and versatile. We more than doubled our existing vinegars and oils. Some will be gifts but the rest will enhance dishes from salads to desserts. If you find yourself near Palisade, Colorado, we recommend visiting this business. It has wide range of products in an attractive setting and knowledgeable staff.

We were able to check in early for a wedding party and the staff were all very nice. When we come back to palisade we know where to stay. So disappointed. I have wanted to stay here for some time…read moreas we drive through Palisade frequently. When we arrived, it appeared we'd interrupted the young lady checking us in. She seemed less than interested in our arrival. We'd arrived later in the evening. Our room was vey nice. Very comfortable. We decide to venture to the jacuzzi. No towels in the outside basket. We had to go inside to request clean towels. When the towels came out, we ask the young lady how to make the jets work in the jacuzzi? "Oh no, they're not working." No sorry, no other explanation, she just walked away. We did manage to get two jets working. It was pleasant. Breakfast was okay. Nothing special. The lady preparing the food was very nice. Checking out was easy and the young gentleman pleasant. Trouble started after we left. Our fault. We'd left our swimsuits in the closet. Have to say, 30 years of traveling we have left things behind in our hotels. Kids left toys, pillows, blankets.... It does happen. Not often! I called when we realized this, Tuesday after we'd departed. I explained we'd left our swim suits hanging in the closet. The woman said she'd check lost and found??? I'd given her our room #. She said the cleaners had not finished their rounds yet and to call back later. Okay then, but I just gave you the room number and told you where they were? Again our mistake, but where is the customer service? I was told to call back at the end of the day. I called at the end of the day. Great swimsuits found. I was then told the person who sends packages would be in touch in a day or two. Okay then.... Nope. I called again on Friday, giving the full two days for someone to call. I was then told the person is new and must have missed it. Okay, what now? Well, "you have to make a USPS for your package and we will send it on Thursday". What? "That's the day we send out mail". You cannot be serious. Why was I not told this when I initially called. I would not have to wait another week. Customer service is a big issue here. I should say severe lack of customer service! So disappointing. Yes we did get our suits. Again our fault for leaving them, but I never had such poor customer service.
