Jordan and Allie were welcoming and cheerful but it was Heather who made this experience for me delightful and pleasant. Not only did she give an excellent tour, but she was accessible to answer all of my questions right away and she always had an answer! I truly enjoyed the process of touring the place all the way up to signing the lease, because Heather made it her obligation to make sure that this was a stress free process! I also want to comment that the pictures match what you will see, and you do not see that often! My family and I are looking forward to our new place in the coming year!

Seems to be lots of families as well as couples, however, everyone mostly keeps to themselves. The apartment was homey and felt safe. It backs up to the old golf course (no longer in use) which connects to Mungo park. There's nice walking trails and open areas, perfect for pets/kids. The downside to the apartment was that there was no overhead lighting or fans in the bedrooms/living room which was annoying, and they didn't have a trash pickup (but charge a monthly trash fee). Only ever had 2-3 maintenance needs but they were attentive and fixed everything appropriately. I moved out due to significant price increases which I didn't feel were warranted given the age of the apartments and lack of amenities (no granite countertops, outdated appliances, carpet throughout, no trash pickup, no overhead fixtures, no closet lighting, etc.). All of which I was fine with for the previous rental amount. Renewal option price rates were all over the place from $1315/mo to $1818/mo. 12 month option had an increased rate of over $500 more per month than what I was paying. I enjoyed my time here, it just didn't make sense to stay. Also, keep in mind that if you live on the third floor, moving in and out is difficult due to the stairs. There is a landing between each floor making the stairs zig-zag.

My leasing agent (I dont remmeber her name) made so many mistakes. She bait and switched us in the sense that she told us we would have the larger fridge (which we expressed how excited we would be to have one) and then rufused to take accountability for that when we moved in and had the smaller fridge. After our tour she said she would send us an email of what apartments we were interested in and that was never sent, we had to call right before they closed for that info (so we could get the deal that was going on at the time and was ending soon) and another person had to basically guess what she told us, and then she never sent the email after that either. She also never sent us our move in email. I had to call DAY OF move in to get that info ( which said it needed to be completed before move in, but she never sent it) (I also asked the manager and she said that they usually try to send it out a week in advance and that we mustve been looked over, which is also not helpful). After we moved in and confronted her about the fridge she denied it and I had ask if ther was someone higher up that her that I can talk to and she said no. Then I proceeded to get into contact with a woman who in fact was the manager and she was also very rude. She also didnt take accountability for anything either and made up excuses for all the bad encounters Ive had with the leasing office in general(like the leasing office not answer calls or emails) and her "compensation" for everything was giving me her personal email to get into contact easier with them. If they had just been honest and said it was a mistake I would have given them some credit but they just dont want to look bad. Besides that mantenance is great and the place itself is nice and Im sure this doesnt happen to a lot of people but I want some accountability from them. I will edit with names if I figure them out.

I was told by the supervisor that our apartment looked great. His biggest concern was the carpet. The people who cleaned carpet were their carpet cleaners; my husband was there when the carpet cleaners arrived he didn't deep steam the carpet correctly. It's not our fault, they want to charge us for a refrigerator replacement. We were there 3 years, things wear and tear. They kept all our deposit and want to charge us $200.00 more. We had that apartment cleaned, window panes, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, etc. They will keep your deposit, I was warned by residents there that moved out. ​God sits high and look down, see everything that goes on. It doesn't make sense to keep people's money; show me itemized statement with prices and I will find out if price is really that much. ​You got deal with dog poop everywhere, mud when it rains but they don't do anything about that. People too lazy clean up their stanking dog poop, then leave dog poop bag by the door for trash man to get it. We should have received half our deposit and more for what my husband paid for that apartment when we moved out. DO NOT pay to get it professionally cleaned and carpet cleaned, they will keep your deposit!!!!!!

    Okay I've been a tenant almost 2 years now, I moved in not knowing the main issues here, my tub has…read morebeen leaking into the kitchen since i moved in, Jonathan was able to get maintenance to spray my bathtub (didn't do nothing) 3 times & it still leaks! The walls are incredibly THIN, you could hear your neighbors sneeze or argue or anything if you have no other sound blocking device like a tv... before my neighbors moved i heard everything & yes ... EVERYTHING even s3x..... thankfully they moved but of course my other neighbor has a dog & barks 25/8, it was a shooting IN THE COMPLEX LESS THAN 2 WEEKS AGO, the person who was involved STILL LIVES HERE.... My patio was already a mess before i moved in, the surrounding areas are ghetto looking but of course you won't know that until you see it for yourself, we do have new management but they barely manage any damn thing but the rent ... especially if you're late be prepared to pay 70% of whatever you're late on & on top of new rent (things happen I'm caught up but was late once & never again) all in all please just find somewhere else to go, i have cracks in my ceiling, walls, it was already smelling like a cigarette, i hear my neighbors flush, take a shower & it's something dripping in the walls that i can hear but cannot see, BE AWARE THIS COMPLEX IS OLD AS HELL & NEEDS TO BE DEMOLISHED & REBUILT!!!! ALL OF THE UNITS EITHER LEAK, BUG INFESTED OR POSSIBLY SOMETHING WORSE!!! MOVE ANYWHERE EXCEPT BROAD RIVER!!!!! I renewed my lease last year but this will DEFINITELY BE MY LAST RENTAL!!!!!!! While these are older apartments, they are renovating. We had brand new appliances when we moved in. Our air did not work initially, and for some reason our shower did not turn on, but maintenance installed a new unit immediately, and made sure the plumber was out same day. We are quite happy with our new place. It's quiet, and everyone we've talk to so far is friendly. There is a recreation center across the street with a pool and other amenities that we are able to utilize. We are even located 10 minutes from work. We plan to stay until we purchase our own home.

    MOLD, MILDEW AND MARIJUANA PARAPHERNALIA: HELL IN A VERY SMALL PLACE…read more Never have I paid so much only to be misled by a leasing office that cannot even keep its story straight for a week. At this complex, and by extension Harbor Group Management, you will be told whatever is necessary to end the conversation, only to later be told in writing that management is free to lie on a recorded line so long as those promises were not written into a lease. I am now entering calendar month three (Jan., Feb., March) of a revolving set of inconsistent explanations and excuses regarding why management has still not refunded a $1,000 security deposit that I opted to pay in full. First, they said it would be direct deposited into my account. Then they said they would mail a check. Then I was told the check was sent on or about Jan. 27. Later, that date changed to Feb. 10. Amid this back and forth, the leasing office told me the check would total approximately $1,250 for the inconvenience, only for that statement to later be walked back to $1,000. Then they told me the check was returned to "corporate" at an indeterminate time. Now, as of today (March 13), I am being told by property manager Irene Blanco that the "third-party system used to issue checks" is "down at the moment." As for how we got here... The property failed TWICE to deliver a livable apartment. Two separate move-in dates came and went while leaks persisted, marijuana paraphernalia remained on the patio and what appeared to be mold was visible on at least one window sill. I have attached photos showing what appears to be a moldy cabinet under the sink, a leaking faucet, broken amenities and a pile of rolling paper filter tips that awaited me in a unit I was expected to pay a premium for. What I cannot photograph is the overwhelming mildew smell that lingered in the kitchen even after the second failed move-in day. I will update this review when the money I was assured for months, whether out of "courtesy" or otherwise, is actually returned. -------------------------- UPDATE: After three calendar months of blatant lies regarding my $1,000 deposit, the check arrived within a WEEK of this review being posted. I picked it up in person and returned all keys associated with Unit 824 -- which the leasing office did not appear to realize were even missing... NAMES TO BE AWARE OF: Irene Blanco ("Property Manager"); Janina Fitzgerald ("Assistant Property Manager"); Reagan Mack (formerly employed at the property, where her responsibilities appeared to consist of playing on her iPhone with an attitude).
