The staff were friendly, both when booking our slot via phone and also when we arrived on the day, and there is a short video session beforehand which details all the rules of the track and how to use the karts etc. There are also lockers on site (deposit to be paid but given back to you once you finish) where you can store any bags, coats etc. We were very lucky as we visited early on a weekday, which meant we were the only ones on the track, and could really let loose! I am abit of a speed junky so this was perfect for me, and I was determined to beat the best track time (alas this did not happen - maybe next time!). I think this would be a fun thing to do with a larger group as well, they do tag team tournaments which look interesting, but you would need more people in order for this to work. The track is indoor, which means weather is not an issue, however as a result the track itself isn't as large as other outdoor ones. That being said, this wasn't an issue for us, however it may become an issue with more drivers on the track. Definitely a fun day out, and would highly reccommend for people with younger children who are looking for soemthing different to do for a birthday party!

It was a split session and we wanted the money back for the 2nd session which we would not be doing, because my son's leg started to get a red patch where the petrol was. But they said no and intimidated us out. Will never go back. Unfortunate, because I had liked their but I don't do business with thugs.

Kiltorcan Raceway:…read more Our company booked a group Grand Prix session at Kiltorcan Raceway during September 2019. From start to finish everything and everyone at Kiltorcan Raceway was amazing and accommodating! The booking process was easy, on arrival the staff were extremely welcoming (there's also a seating area with pool table for use when waiting!). The way the race worked and all the rules of the Raceway were clearly explained and as it was a dull and rainy day we were offered protective jumpsuits and gloves to wear. Once we were all kitted out it was straight to the track! The karts were all ready and waiting for us and we were shown how to use them and had the opportunity to adjust the seating to our liking with a staff member. Once the practice laps and race were under way the staff were jotted around the track to be on hand should any karts spin out or hit the tyre walls. Once the race was over we had an award ceremony for the top three drivers as offered by the Raceway and they also accommodated our group bringing our own trophies for a longer award ceremony too! Altogether Kiltorcan Raceway was an absolutely brilliant activity for our staff day out! A really professional outfit with lovely and helpful staff I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who was looking for a group activity in the area!!
