The sandwich was super fresh, but I felt the bread was a bit too hard for a sandwich. That being said, the bread was very tasty. The pastry was probably the best thing I've ever eaten in my life. This might sound like I'm exaggerating (I am), but it was honestly incredible. Soft, gooey, not too sweet, and just the right amount of crispness on top. The space was brightly lit, fairly spacious, with comfortable seating, and an inviting atmosphere. I had this almond pastry covered with powdered sugar, along with a Hazelnut Latte. In total, this was around $11. The pastry was absolutely delectable! It was satisfyingly chewy, soft, with actual almond, as well as delightful almond flavor throughout. The Hazelnut Latte was prepared with care, and had a lovely design on top. However, it tasted more like a regular latte. There wasn't enough hazelnut in it. Stopped by another time during my trip, because they were the only bakery-like place still open (most close so early!) I saw they had the Hazelnut Roll, which they were out of last time, so of course I had to get it. The roll was huge, fluffy, flaky, with plenty of hazelnut and hazelnut spread. Mmm! I would be open to trying more from this spot, but would want to check out more non-chain cafes for Fika in the future.
