I then went through the holidays with no furniture expecting to have it delivered January 17th. On January 16th get told again they don't have my furniture but might get it mid February... I simply said this is uncalled for and ridiculous and asked for my money back. Tried to stay local and shop local but will never go there again. So disappointing.

Finally, I found this place. The store has great parking out front. The aisles are large and easy to navigate. There are so many different types of dealers that everyone is sure to find a treasure. I was looking for furniture. Not only did I find exactly what I was looking for, but the prices were extremely affordable for the quality represented. I found several accent tables and nightstands. I even found a lovely small sideboard that was solid wood. I also found a great set of nesting tables for $59.99. I was amazed since I have bought a set at wholesale price in the past and paid close to $150 for them. Darion was super knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. As said, I purchased a number of larger pieces and wanted to fit them all into my vehicle. Darion took the time to help me load them and reload them in my car until we were able to fit most of them in. She was willing to keep trying different ways to get it all in. She definitely went above and beyond. Without her help I would have had to get someone to come help me load my car since the pieces were too bulky and heavy to do it alone. She was AMAZING!!!!!! I look forward to coming in on a regular basis since these types of stores have constantly revolving stock. If you see something you like, buy it, because it will be gone the next time you come in.

My wife and I were shopping for leather furniture and were assured from the sales person ,southern…read moremotion would be a good fit for our needs , we have 2 dogs and we are in our 50's. We waited 14 weeks for the furniture to arrive, due to covid , which was fine. We have had the furniture for a whopping 15 months when we reported cracking on the control side of the seats, we were told it was the vinyl cracking ( we were told we were buying all leather ) . Once this was reported , the repairman met with my wife, when she was told that we have had over a year and this could be from the oils in our skin or even caused from prescription medication. We were told that southere motion would send a new cover ( still with vinyl sides ) but not cover labor to re-install the cover, Dillmans would be willing to do this for a fee, again stating that we have had the furniture for over a year! To date nothing has happened. We are now having issues with the leather wearing and losing the finish , at this pace we will need new furniture shortly . Very disappointed in the whole process of this purchase of new furniture that should have a life of 10 years instead of maybe 3 years . Do not buy southern motion leather furniture . When you purchase from a dealer you should have an advocate to help with issues, we did not find that .

Check the back inside of recliners some are made cheap as lawn furniture. Lasted two months before…read moreit had a bad dip in the back. When opened we noticed it was made from two strips of lawn chair no I am not kidding the old lawn chair stuff thats like a grain feed bag. Two 3 inch 3 foot strips that were stapled one staple to each side of board. They did not loop over board either just behind it and stapled so I was sitting in a cushion leaning on a loop pushing into material on outside back of chair. Even lawn chairs were woven into each other so this does not happen. Imagine sitting in a lawn chair that only has 2 strips not a complete wove pattern. I mentioned I have back problems and that I did not want to buy a cheap chair. I really did not expect a legitimate furniture store to sale stuff like this. I noticed some odd looks when I was paying now I assume they all knew the salesman John had pulled a fast one.

They had so many wonderful books and they were very well organized. The manager saw how many books I was buying (ended up being 68) and gave me a price break. Instead of $1.50 per hardback book he only charged me $1.25. It was greatly appreciated. I also bought a big picture that was on display at the front of the store. The store seemed to be well organized. I didn't really look at the clothes since I was looking for books. But I will be back. The employees were super friendly. I was greeted by several different employees. Great experience. And I love that the money they take in supports the Muncie Mission.

The ONLY reason this store is getting three stars is due to the fact that two employees are amazing…read moreppl. The items they sale are just barely below average cost and they could care less about the customer. I had bought two gallons of paint and the lid want secure on one of them and as I was pushing my cart to the lot the lid came off of the can and spilled all over my clothes and shoes and transportation. I didn't make a commotion to it I just simply walked back into the store and the woman was very helpful and concerned and even replaced the can of paint that spilled. She took my information and asked management if there was any way I could at least get in store credit. nd the manager responded, "No. I'm going to do anything like that. That was his fault that happened. How were we supposed to know the lid wasn't on right. He should have checked it for himself." So not only did I ruin a $300 pair of shoes, a new shirt and shorts, and had to get my ride repainted, but i was blamed for the lose lid. So if it weren't for the employee I HONESTY wouldn't be back in this place.
