I initially met with Doctor Cutler and had a few conversations with him. He took his time, explained some options, and agreed to meet again. When I went to do a follow-up, he was not in, but I met with another doctor, Doctor Kirk. Although I absolutely love Dr. Cutler, I love Dr. Kirk also. Dr. Kirk took the same approach as Dr. Cutler, giving me all my options and explaining the road I would have to take if she did the surgery. With her being there and taking the time she did, I elected to allow her to do the surgery. Dr. Kirk has constantly communicated with me before and after the surgery to ensure everything was going as she had planned. She even ran into various complications with the hospital. Dr. Kirk went above and beyond as my advocate to ensure I would get exactly what she told me she would do. To be fair, Dr. Cutler called and checked up on me before the surgery. He made sure Dr. Kirk was going to be doing the proper procedure. He had a lot of empathy and knowledge, as well as guidance. I was very fortunate to have him very involved with me also. Although I am forever thankful for Dr. Kirk, I also have complete confidence in Dr. Cutler also, and I would have allowed him to operate on me too.
