Very disappointed in how i was treated here! I came in here w good intentions and left feeling like i was dealing w ignorance and slimy business practice. I signed a month to month and after two months i did not want to deal w these people due to the beds being very dirty and being very and extremely difficult to cancel my month to month! Post-quarantine review: These folks were always on top of sanitizing, and they're going above and beyond now. The usual masks, plastic dividers, etc. But also: sticker seals on the room doors so you know the room has not been touched since cleaning. Didn't bill for their monthly plans during the closure. And a $25 gift card when you come back. Friendly service, super efficient. Nice place, plenty of beds. read more

The workers either don't wear masks or can't figure out how to wear them properly. Every time I come in. Today I finally decided to say something. I watched a girl help 3 people before me with her mask under her chin the entire time. When I asked her before she helped me if she minded wearing her mask she stared at me like we haven't been in a pandemic for a year. Then couldn't even keep it over her nose. Then she pulled it back down to help the people after me. Since this location has no concern for their customers safety, I'll be finding a new location or canceling my membership. If you're going to require customers to wear theirs, you should wear yours. Or at least wait until you're not helping someone to pull it down. read more

Loved the way my spray tan came out. I did have to wait a long time for the machine though. Also, I wish they would have provided more direction for how the machine operates because I was very nervous that they did not have signs on how to stand or if you have to turn around. Rip-off and dead bulbs! (1) Be careful about giving them your credit card number. The internet is full of complaints about them continuing to charge you after you cancelled. Read the complaints carefully before you give them your number. (2) They play a ridiculous trick to cheat monthly members out of tanning everyday. Instead of following the law that you can tan once in each 24 hour period, they require you to wait 24 hours, up to the second, before you tan again. This protects their machines from being used everyday, but it cheats the consumer. (3) Their bulbs are totally, absolutely dead! I used TanPro's lowest level for one month, and got quite a bit of tan. I have been using Palm Beach Tan's next higher level for a month, on the days when they allow me to tan, and I seem to be losing tan. I certainly am not gaining any brown at all. DEAD, DEAD, TOTALLY DEAD BULBS! How many years have they used the same DEAD bulbs! There is no reason to waste your money there to have pasty white skin! Tan Pro sold my subscription to these cheats, or I would not try to get a tan from such ancient bulbs. I may just give up and consider the money a total loss, because of the thoroughly exhausted bulbs. read more

I'm not an extreme tanner but within the past year, I've wanted to go for various reasons. Since I don't go a lot, I wanted a place that wasn't going to restrict me to "unlimited for a month," while charging me a lot. When I went into Bronze Tan Studios, it was very clean and modern. The girls working were so friendly and they offered 2 months free of tanning and then a monthly fee ($28) after those 2 months were up. I was told I could cancel anytime and they got me into their system very fast. I still don't go a lot but when I have it's been great. I've left a ring and my debit card there before and they had it waiting in a sealed envelope with my name on it when I came to pick them up. Friendly, clean and professional. Everything you want when you're laying somewhere practically naked. read more

I am not an avid tanner at all. I had some kind of a "living social" deal for a month unlimited and 2 spray tans. I bought it to get ready to go on a beach vacation in Feb. It was clean. Staff varied depending on time of day. Some were helpful, others not so much. The spray tan in my opinion was quite gross. It was wet and cold and I felt like I should NOT be breathing it all in like I was. Oh and your supposed to put a hair cap on so it doesn't get the dye on it and all that was in the room was a shoe cover (like what you wear going into surgeries). I brought it to the front to get the hair cap and the girl swore up and down it was a hair cap. I told her to put it on her head. That's when she decided it was in fact for shoes. The one positive I can see with the spray tan is that it is quick. You get a "tan" in like 60 seconds. It didn't last more then 3-4 days though. read more

SCABIES I have a friend who tanned at this salon. They gave her the two month free in the level three beds. She tanned the first month and got scabies, made it apparent to the employees. Stay away from this place, they do not tell the truth about memberships. You try to cancel and they make it nearly impossible. The spray tans do not last nor do they look very good. I am sitting at this place and watching the poor girl that works here running like a crazy person. She has kept the best attitude and been so nice and accommodating to every customer. Why does the manager of this store run it so slim on a Sunday? People are off on sundays, this is a busy day. She has had phones ringing like crazy and a line of customers since I've been here. But then you walk in on a weekday at 12pm and the manager is here with 2 additional employees, wtf? Not to mention this is the third time I've come here to get a spray tan and the Versa breaks after I'm standing in the booth. This happened twice while the manager was here and it's still not fixed, does it come out of her paycheck to get this fixed? Amended. Since then I have switched to the Mystic and the girls there in the evenings are awesome. They even found a problem in my billing and fixed it! read more

Dublin, Ohio Location: Over-all staff was pleasant, but uneducated and/or unclear on how the monthly memberships work. I was not provided any paperwork, nor did staff read exactly word for word what I was signing (although they confirmed twice that they were reading in full). I was over-charged and paid 2 months worth of tanning sessions for a 4 week time frame. Management was unprofessional, unpleasant and had a hard time answering how I was charged 2 months worth of tanning for 4 weeks worth of tanning. Two separate staff members confirmed that I was over-charged and I was told numerous times that management and/or customer care would call and I have still not heard back from anyone. I called management again and they were combative and argumentative. I am disappointed in their customer service and lack of customer care. read more

I've had MULTIPLE issues with this specific location. I would go to other locations, but unfortunately I moved next to this one. I've even e-mailed the "District Manager" and nothing was done about my bad experience previously. They do not care about how their employees treat their customers. As a Store Manager myself, I would be embarrassed if my staff treated anyone the way I'm treated there on a regular basis. I'll be looking for a new tanning salon. read more

The Palm Beach Sawmill location has been my favorite location. The ladies there always suggest what lotion is best for my skin, but I never feel that they are forcing me to buy anything extra! Everyone is so friendly. Sam is my favorite, shes always there during the day to make me feel so welcomed and relaxed! It is always so clean and the beds are always running on new powerful bulbs. I always appreciate the relaxing tan on my lunch break! read more

The girls here are always friendly and welcoming, and the manager, Cassie, is really on her game. She knew my name within two or three visits, and she is awesome at recommending beds and lotions. The salon itself is always impeccably clean and the beds are well maintained. I rarely had to wait for a bed which was always a plus. My only complaint is the price, but you're paying for high quality so it's worth it in the end ;) read more

I have had horrible experiences with palm beach tan since I signed up 3/26. I had a coupon for a free month, which actually is not a free month it's like 29.99 off your package. I signed up for the highest package (at least it was supposed to be, the Diamond package) paid 64$ and was told I would basically get the second month free that I would only pay 25$ on 4/25 and not pay the full month which is 99$ until 6/25. About 3 weeks into tanning, as I was leaving one night I was told I had a free spray tan that was about to expire. (By this time I had already spent like at least 500$ in tanning lotion which they get commission on so I'ma good customer.) So I came back the next day to use it and was told it's not actually free. Basically the only thing that was free was the air, that you had to buy everything that went with it (the color, intensifier, toners) fine whatever so I pay and it' comes to 25$, but she told me the color was 5$ the toners (I got 2 were like 3$ each and screen was 1$) also that night they denied my sister her free spray tan cause they were closing. (We got there at 640) so she got done tanning before me I had 8 min left and even tho I had the keys to the car and it was raining that she had to stand outside and wait on me and was very rude to her. She called to talk to the manager the next day and explain what happened to her and me. Her name is Sam. She was very rude. So we then tell the manager at Bethel rd just about our experiences with the sawmill store. She offered us both another spray tan for the inconvenience (again, we didn't ask her to she just offered). I went in bethel to get my free spray tan a couple days later and there was a new manager who didn't want to honor it and called the old manager who told her to. It was supposed to be the same one I got the first time which is supposed to be the darkest you can get. So then on 5/3 I was charged 123$ And I went in on 5/4 to see why when I was only supposed to be charged 25$. The manager Sam shouldn't even be a manager she couldn't even explain the billing process.... the district supervisor who happened to be there was rude to and the only thing she could say was that she's sorry the girl that told you this doesn't work here no more. Like no, that's not acceptable. I asked for corporates number and walked out. So the next day (which was yesterday I'm tanning at bethel and telling the girl what happened and telling her I wanted spray tans to begin with and was going to upgrade to that level (because come to find out I didn't have it, I was at the 89$ level which is even worse it's 89$ a month but I'm being charged 123$ a month??? ‍) so I was going to upgrade which my sister had just upgraded 5/4 from the 49$ level to the 99$ level which is from 5/4 to 5/25 and she only had to pay 24$ to upgrade, I was already at the 89 just trying to upgrade to 99 and was told I had to pay 22$ like make it make sense!!!!! So the girl at bethel last night told me I would be upgraded to the 99$ level for 30 days and you just wait until billing was done again and upgrade then.... so because we tanned at 736 last night, you have to wait 24 hours and they close at 7 today I went back to get a spray tan done today. As we're discussing the colors because my sister went before me and got "the darkest" you can get (which is what I was supposed to get the first time, the second time was supposed to be the same) and my sister only had to pay 16$ for her colors where I paid 25 the manager said that I was not upgraded but that she would honor it that the girl was supposed to get permission I guess to do the upgrade for me and didn't. Then tells me that this winch district supervisor put in my account not to honor any more free spray tans for me.... I never asked for any free spray tans EVER. I was told I had a free one then I was offered and free one, and then I went to upgrade and was told I would be upgraded for 30 days. I never asked for any of this.... but because I went in questioning my bill and what I was told when I signed up she put this note in my file? read more

The best of the best for tanning salons. Having worked in this industry for 3+ years, I know what to look for and what a tanning salon should be like. This is it!! The beds are new, and very well maintained. My color always looks perfect, from the beds and the sunless booths. I recommend Palm Beach Tan as it is, but Sawmill is the best! The girls are always sweet and take care of you every time. The manager, Cassie, is amazing. If you're looking for somewhere to tan long term or just for an event or vacation go here!! read more

This is HANDS DOWN the best salon I've ever been to and I even managed a different salon for three years. The beds are state of the art and always clean. I use a level 3 bed.. A mister & aromatherapy... AND an additional 4 minute on your face & shoulders?! Not your average tanning experience. The manager Cassie is phenomenal. She is SO friendly and personable but 100% knows her stuff. I had been to the salon over a year ago and recently went back and they were so accommodating about going over the different a beds, lotions etc. The best & most relaxing 12 minutes you'll ever experiences. read more

This business is absolutely atrocious. They will not hesitate to rip you for your money at every turn. There's always a loop hole in everything you do and they won't tell you about it unless you ask the right specific questions. For example, I wanted to "freeze" my members (which they insisted is Soooooo easy) and ended up getting charged $9 the next month because they forgot to mention you pay a monthly fee when your account is "frozen." I recommend you find literally anywhere else to tan. I will never come back here. read more

LOVE THIS PLACE! Best tanning experience. They have many beds to choose from (levels 1-4). The beds mist you, have 2 separate fans, you can dock your own phone/iPod. There is never a wait. Its a little expensive ($$$), but very worth it. The lotions are pricey, but you don't need to purchase from there. You get "points" that you can use towards tanning or products. The staff are one of the reasons I keep going back. Very friendly. read more

I don't usually come to this location, but came here to cancel my membership, because tanning is now offered at my work place. When I asked to cancel my membership, the girl at the front desk instantly became very short with me. I asked if I could still use the spray tans that I had purchased back in July. But she informed me that they expire after 45 days. I was not aware that this was the current rule. I would have never purchased them if I knew that they had an expiration. Otherwise, I've always had great experiences at all Palm Beach locations. It is a great place to tan usually. read more

What an amazing and helpful team!! Every time I have stepped into their establishment they have been nothing but great to me. I was visiting from LA and I recently bought a package and got an amazing tan. I didn't think it would be an issue to tan at the strongsville location with that package but those employees had the worst customer service I have ever encountered. Luckily the Dublin location came up with a resolution for me and I am forever grateful! Cassie and Cierra are super amazing. Their service makes me still think very highly of Palm Beach. I love coming here!! Not only because they have best beds and sunless tan options but I come here because the staff is, hands down, the best group of girls I've ever met! They are so personable- remember you by name, remember little things or big things that going on in your life and ask you about it. They are so friendly and sweet. And most importantly, they know their stuff. Any question you have about a product or bed- they have great info and answers. Kelly- the assistant manager is so sweet and funny! I enjoy coming in and talking to her. She makes my night each and every time I come in! Kc, Kassie, the other Kelly, and two of the newer girls- soooo friendly! Another HUGE plus about this tanning salon is its CLEAN!! I am so big on being clean and I'm not just talking about the things that you can see! You can tell they clean on top, behind, all around the beds, the shelves, the bathroom!! Squeaky clean! These are some hard working chicks who deserve the recognition! In all the tanning beds I have ever tried, this one by far exceeds all others. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to make you feel like they truly care about your business. They remember my name each time I am there, and they are always very nice. I used to jump around from tanning salon to tanning Salon to try to find the best deals. I went to Palm Beach Tan once almost 3 years ago and refuse to go to another establishment. I took almost two years off from tanning and when I walked back in Cassie still knew me by name. All of the girls are amazing and know their stuff!
