I went into here asking for a tanning bed and the lady at the front desk was very condescending to me and turned me away. She was also very rude and kept asking me if I've done this before which I have. She said I wasn't gonna get any color and said I was gonna throw my money away. I still wanted to because last time I came I got color. She offered me a spray tan which is not what I asked for and then told me I was just gonna waste my money. Thank you! I have had a membership here for years at $89.95 a month. The gal did a great job up selling me. I am not a frequent tanner, in fact tried to tan today after an 11 month hiatus. I was told my membership was active, but there was a time in the interim I got a new card number and their funds didn't transfer from the account due to my card number being stolen and closed. So today even though I just paid the $89.95 a month fee, could not tan, and they wanted $200-some to bypass. What? No. Horrible billing system. They've collected over $1000 from me in this last nearly one year got zero minutes of tanning. They have nice beds but my advice is do NOT get trapped into a membership, total scam!!! read more

###Worst business I have ever encountered in my life!!!!! it was nice at first then one bed had one bulb out the next time I went that bed had two bulbs out then the next time I went I ask for a different bed because those bulbs are out they gave me a different bed that one had four bulbs out then they told me it would take a few weeks to get new bulbs in so I called the number and left a message about my thoughts on there someone called me back that same night a manager and told me they were sorry for the inconvenience that they would upgrade my package for the next month so the next time I go in the girl tells me yeah we should have those bulbs replaced in like a week and so then you can go back to your regular package then I told her that the manager said it would be for a month they would upgrade my package for the inconvenience and she argued with me and I said okay great you guys don't have great communication skills either then after I left the manager called me again and told me that it would be good for a month of an upgrade then today every time I have gone tanning in that level bed they have told me it is a Max of 12 minutes in that bed today I see the sign on the outside of the door that says a Max of 15 minutes then the bed I have today has three bulbs out so they upgraded my package but have only allowed me to go 12 minutes in that bed every time I've gone since they upgraded my package so really is it really upgrading my package just so you know I have cancelled my package today and I have never been so disgusted with a business in my life until now !!!!! I really like the atmosphere and quality of beds, but I really really hate that every time I go in for a tan someone tries to sell me lotion. Maybe I have lotion, maybe I don't. This location and the corporate office are criminal. Palm Beach has been stealing $5.50 a month from me for over a year. I tried canceling over the phone due to covid. This location told me I couldn't, I had to mail a letter or come in person. I moved to Phoenix. Even if I wanted to show up in person, it was impossible. So I sent a support email and I mailed a letter to the location and to their corporate office. After several months of trying to cancel, I finally had to close my credit card and open a new account just to get a charge to stop! This is where it gets even worse. 2 months after I opened my new card, the auto payment of $5.50 started being taken out again. When I called my bank, they stating that MasterCard allows for companies to reacquire customer credit info in the event they change cards and forget to update the company. This is insane! It completely makes my bank helpless to stop the reoccurring charge. They have been manually rejecting the charge with disputes every month. I do not want to cancel my credit card again, I want to stop this company from stealing my money during a pandemic when I am out of work and near homeless trying to feed my family. Why would a company do this to anyone that simply would like to cancel a service. PALM BEACH TAN corporate stores will rip you off! DO NOT spend your hard earned money there. Too many other places that will not continuously find ways to steal from you. It has been a very very long fight for me...please save yourself the trouble and do business elsewhere. read more

Have had a membership for over a year now and have never had any issues. Staff members are all very knowledgeable and helpful. The lotion is extremely expensive but they have a lot of sales so I just stock up when they do. Leaving a review because I only saw bad ones on here but I know of several people who love it there and I've never had a bad experience since I got the membership. read more

Went here for my first time ever tanning. Employees were very helpful and I had a good experience.....until I went to cancel. They kept charging me after I canceled and the manager would not call me back. Finally got a hold of her and she was VERY rude. Never got a refund. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone read more

I started a membership with PBT about a month ago now, and was pleasantly surprised to find that with starting my membership I also got a free week in the "Beauty Angel" which is red light therapy, and also a free spray tan valid for up to a month. Wow! Selena was the lady that got me started with my membership and she replied with "We take care of our members ;)" They sure do! Today was just another instance where I came in after a week of not being able to tan due to a neck injury that was still bothering me. Selena was very attentive to what was going on and quickly made accommodations to upgrade me to an ergonomic bed to help with my neck.... even offering extra towels to make my neck more comfortable~ She went above and beyond what I would have expected and am more than happy to have made the switch from my previous tanning place of 10+ years. Ask for Selena at this location~ she has great customer service skills, so friendly, and is very attentive with her customers. Highly recommend!! read more
