My rep. Stayed focus with me. I was given a free self tan with kit. But upgrade? So paid another $20? The rep. Was very friendly making me feel comfortable for my first time in detail. I absolutely love this place! The managers and staff are amazing. I've had bank issues and it messed up my tanning for a a day or two, but the staff would fix it promptly, and make my experience the best. This store is always clean and new bulbs are always replaced when needed. I have been a member for a few years and I won't go any where else! read more

Edited to say that I am really shocked that this place would rather me come in to use their services and potentially infect their customers and employees and lose my business forever, than allow me to freeze my account for one month. This is after they have made thousands of dollars off of me. I've had my issues with this place, but I've let it go many times. I was treated rudely when they first re-opened and told to "go outside" with no further explanation. I let it go- figured they were stressed and maybe at capacity (there was ONE other person in the lobby). I've been a diamond level member for almost two years and have spend thousands of dollars here- and today I have had it. I requested that my membership be frozen due to COVID (I am staying home at the moment as cases continue to spike here in the CSRA, and I have been exposed to the virus several times). I was given some run around, but my app updated to show that I would be charged $7.50 on August 1st and that my membership was frozen. Imagine my surprise when I open my account today and see that Palm Beach Tan has taken $83.95 right out of my checking account! Their customer service representative was rude, and her supervisor offered me 'store credit'. I just want my money back since I cannot even come in there at the moment, and they have neither cancelled my account nor taken my payment information off of their server. You are not even able to delete your card information from their app. Once their customer service people get tired of responding to you once or twice, they just ignore you. I'm a former customer service supervisor and I'm honestly appalled. I am truly shocked at how they treat loyal, long term customers, and annoyed that I'm having to file a dispute with my bank. Run away from this place. I'll even tell you a secret! Planet Fitness across the street has tanning beds plus a gym for a whopping $30 a month! Additionally, all the products they sell in this salon are marked up by like 300%. You can buy them much much cheaper online. TLDR: They'll refuse to cancel your membership after you've been a customer for years, and continue charging your account. Buyer beware! read more

Cancelling during a pandemic was a nightmare. Ended up being charged (the full $84) even though I couldn't (well, would not) come in for fear of infecting staff and other customers. Buyer beware. read more

I used to go to a tanning salon on Washington rd and to one in Belvedere. I thought I could save on gas this year by going to one closer to my house. That was a mistake. Not only did the spray tan turn me orange (after I paid 13$ extra for that not to happen), but I also broke out in a rash after using their tanning beds. I tried to talk to the manager but he never called me back. The staff was pushy. I will never go back. You can get a better tan quicker and cheaper and safer elsewhere. read more

I just recently got a membership Wednesday March 29th. I opened my account at Furry Ferry with all intentions of using the NA store, because it's close to my job and i can go on my lunch. I tried to go yesterday (Thursday the 30th) and couldn't because something was wrong with the beds, and today also went waited for 15 minutes FINALLY got a bed got to the point of putting on my lotion that i JUST bought from them and they knock on the door and tell me the beds are back down. I understand some things are out of control but two days in a row i've driven to this store to tan, and have not been able to and its very frustrating because it's the only time i can go and have only been able to use my membership 1 day out of 3 so far. Something needs to be worked on here.. read more

The beds are always clean and well maintained, and the mystic tan booth is second to none. However, the staff is rude and pushy and continues to try to sell you products after you have told them that you are not wanting to buy anything. If you're looking for a good place to tan, this place is cool, just be ready for a high pressure sales pitch and nasty looks if you don't buy every time you walk in. read more

Nice tanning salon with helpful folks. It's more expensive than anything else around, but it's a nice experience... until you want to opt out! BE VERY CAREFUL. I asked to stop my account after a year, and yet I continued to be charged $8.25/month as a "holding fee" to use whenever I came back again. WHAT!?!?! I called three times to speak with the manager, but never received a return call. I finally called and got him and was able to stop future charges, but I will not be reimbursed for the $33 that they charged to my credit card. Very poor business practices. I was in the market for a spray tan a few years ago. Before you say anything, yes black people tan. I had learned years earlier that some of my favorite African-American celebrities tanned to get those amazing camera ready complexions. I wanted one too. I was a performer and needed a flawless complexion to go with my barely there costumes. I was using self tanner but it wasn't giving me the coverage I wanted and I couldn't take the smell. I rode around town looking for places that did spray tans. I was directed to this place for a fabulous spray tan, and that's what I got. The Mystic tan experience was amazing. The staff was very accommodating and made me feel so welcome. I had never done anything like this before so they explained to me everything that with along with it and offered me a booster to go along with the tan to give me more color. I love the way it came out. I was a bronzy Amazon. I love the way you sign in as well. They use the fingerprint technology. That was so cool to me. The price was kinda steep at $30 a pop and $3 extra for the booster. I think they have gone up a little more since I have been. But if I want a flawless complexion again I know exactly where to go!!! read more
