(that might seem romantic..) Not to mention the only other group of people here; it's possible to hear every word of their drunken babble. To be honest, when the voices lower, it doesn't make any difference - the construction design is so angular, it's like being inside a tuba. The easy-listening background music is barely distinguishable. It just adds to the noise as it's impossible for the ears to follow a piece.
