This is a cute little Café in Surf Downtown of Bajamar. Bajamar is a hot spot for Surfing in…read morenorthern Teneriffe, but it's small and has not much Party going on. The Surf Scene is small as well, but there is a lot Localism to protect the best waves around the City. On our first day we stumbled on this cute Café all surf branded right next to a Surf Shop. We thought they are kind of connected and only went inside to ask when the Shop would open. The owner of Baja Surf actually then called the Surf Shop owner to come down from his flat. We were kind of embarrassed as we didn't really want to disturb everybody on a Sunday. So while we were waiting we ordered ourselves a green smoothie and a really liked it. Before the smoothy actually arrived the Store owner arrived so we went in the Store and checked out some Wetsuits. The owner of Baja Surf brought us the Smoothie to the store. We finished our business and went back to the Baja Surf. There we got plenty of tipps about the coasts and beaches, where we should go, could go, should not go, or watch out for locals. They also gave us some tipps how to behave etc. That was perfect for us as it was just the very first day and we had no clue at all. We came back later the week to eat. They serve Burgers, Tacos, and sometimes have a Sushi special. We actually were always graving for Tacos but they didn't have them available so i ate Burgers both time and croquetas as a starters. The food is served stylish on a stone plate and the croquetas were awesome. The Burger i have to say is not my favorite. The meet was too well done for me. There is basically no sauce it in, and the "design" of the ingredients is just not my favorite. I am pretty sure a lot people would like it, but that is mainly about personal taste. They actually also do really great Cocktails, i forgot to mention. I think this place is definitely a must go for surfers and non surfers staying in Bajamar. It's actually the only place that kind of sells trendy food. And i should mention that the service is really super friendly! We always felt like visiting friends.

The only outstanding thing here is that it has a better view down the beach and sun in the morning as it's located a bit different than most other places in Bajamar.

Typical Spanish Café. They are offering Fruit Juices from some chain, they get offered all around…read moreTeneriffa, not sure how much of it is really fresh made, maybe concentrate. The typical jamon y queso croissant tasted good, but there is not much one could do wrong. The place looks a bit cheap and there is a TV running all the time. Wouldn't say it's bad but it's nothing special.
