I always quarantine new plants and inspect upon purchase, but ended up throwing away the last two in fear of them spreading. I was talking to another houseplant friend this week and she also said the last two house plants she got here came with spider mites, as well-- hers even spread to other plants because she didn't throw them out. Maybe it's because their house plant greenhouse is open to the outside? Maybe just bad luck recently? I'd stick to buying flowers, produce, and seasonal goods here.

We did get some food while we were there and it was great! My Italian sandwich had a good amount of meat and left me feeling satisfied.
