I came back 3 hours later and they told me my order was never placed and they were not supposed to take any orders that day. All I wanted was 12 white roses, not even in an arrangement. I ordered the Zen Artistry arrangement in deluxe (larger than standard and smaller than premium) but when I clicked on all of the option sizes they were only slightly differing so when I called to ask if she could do that arrangement, she stated yes that is the one with the orchids. I was flabbergasted... $56.66 For this... I purchased this for my husband's birthday and had them sent to his work, and when he received them I asked for him to send me a picture of them. Except for the color, they look nothing like the shown picture on the site. I order flowers all the time but this was a first for him at his office... usually I send goodies... Palmetto Gardens Florist 1618 E. Greenville Street, Suite B Anderson, S.C. 29621 I ordered Teleflora's Love Medley with Red roses for Valentine's Day. The photograph and specifications on Teleflora's web site show large red roses, no white roses at all, and three types of pink roses, each of a different size and shade. I ordered the arrangement by telephone and made a point to confirm that the florist had the necessary flowers for the arrangement and that they were all fresh. The florist at first told me the pink roses in the arrangement are actually pink mini-carnations. When I read the description aloud in which that pink roses are specified, she said she was at first confused but then understood which arrangement I wanted. My fiancée and I were staying in a hotel about 35 minutes away from the florist. When I called the next day to make sure the piece was ready to pick up, The florist told me she was out of pink roses and had substituted large pink roses instead. When we saw the actual arrangement, white roses had been substituted for most of the pink roses called for in the specifications. There were no sweetheart roses and no hot pinks that were supposed to make the arrangement pop with color. Also there was no greenery interspersed with the roses. All the greenery was around the periphery of the piece. The look of piece relies heavily on the variety supplied by the three shades and three different sizes of pink roses. Accordingly, substitution of white roses for the three sizes and shades of pink drastically changed the look of the arrangement. Also, the white roses dominated the piece to such an extent that it looked more like a cheap funeral arrangement than a Valentine's Day piece. In addition, both the roses and the greenery were old--many days old, and they were very clearly showing their age. The roses were fully open, the edges were curling downward, and the leaves and the greenery around the periphery had started to turn brown. The flowers were brought out by an older lady in the shop who was exceedingly unfriendly. We asked her to remake the arrangement given that it was so far off from specifications and since the flowers looked so old. She said the arrangement looked beautiful to her while looking sheepishly at the roses and squeezing them. She then copped an attitude and told us in a rather strident tone that she isn't a stylist, the stylist was gone, and that she couldn't remake the piece. In other words, she didn't care that the arrangement was vastly different than advertised, featured very old stock, and that we had driven many miles and took time off from work to get it. I would avoid this florist at all cost. I would not even walk across the street to purchase anything from them. And I think they are damaging the Teleflora brand with such poor quality work and bad customer service. BUYER BEWARE! read more

Ordered flowers for a sweet sixteen birthday the day before and specified date and time frame. Flowers were sent same day. I found out by email the same day I ordered stating they were delivered the the next days date on it. After calling to find out why I got a predated email the lady lied and said it was an email error and they would be delivered on time. Poor business practices. This is the second time that I have made a request to text me an image of the purchase I'm making for a friend in Anderson . l live in Pennsylvania and I wanted to see what the bouquet looked like as I asked for a few changes to this Christmas bouquet. I wanted to make sure that it had just a few extras which I was willing to pay extra for. I specifically asked for a red vase a white bow with red roses some pine cones to make it appear more festive. The whole purpose of me to directly deal with an Anderson South Carolina florist is so that I can customize what it is that I'm buying for my friend. I simply asked for just a few changes and the water level to be full and I asked them again to please make sure they send me a text image of the bouquet before delivery as they done one time before. I again called Palmetto florist in Anderson I could not get through during normal working hours so I called multiple times and Lori finally picked up the phone. I asked her it is now 4 pm, where is the image that you were supposed to send me, she told me the driver would take a picture of it once delivered. I never got the image and the water level was very low after all I did ask to please put a lot of water in the vase as the lady who is receiving is handicaped. I have used this florist multiple times not just at Christmas. It's time that I look around and deal with another local florist that is willing to work with me directly the consumer. I didn't ask much other than to change the color of the Roses make sure that there was water in the vase and adding 2 pine cones to make it festive. In dealing with Palmetto Gardens Florist in Anderson in the past multiple times I also noticed that their hours of operation vary from what their website show they're not very easily someone that you can get in touch with when their hours of operation state that they're open but yet they never pick their phone up this has happened multiple times in the many, many years I've been sending flowers locally in Anderson South Carolina. I called Lori and left a message about my disappointment, but I was EXPECTING a call back from Palmetto Florist and no one ever bothered to return the call, guess they figured they already had my $70.00. Purchase elsewhere, here are 3 review's all from the same florist on Yelp and all have only 1 star. This is a tell tale sign that this establishment is poor.
