This place is a F'n joke!! Today was my wife and I's anniversary and wanted to use the range before we went out to dinner. Called before we left to confirm the range was open. Was told yes, but need to be there before 6pm and the range was closing at 630p (even though their website says 7pm). Drive 40 minutes and arrived at 550p. Clown at the desk, Conner, denied letting us shoot bc, and I quote, "I have too much to do before we close and I have to sweep up the brass." Told him we drove 40 minutes to get here after calling to confirm. He couldn't care less, didn't issue any sort of apology and walked away. Asked to speak to the manager. Some complete slob named Owen walks out and also couldn't care less. Typical gun store attitude. Stay away from this place and these clowns. Bought a Rock 5.7 in September. I had problems from day one with chambering so I contacted customer support and was told that the springs were tight and it needed a break in period. I ran less than 100 rounds through it and had a catastrophic failure firing out of battery. UPDATE: After posting this review as well as challenging with with my credit card company PSA has reached out to me. They have agreed to replace my pistol but have yet to ship it. Prices are higher in store than online. Gun range guys are always cool. Sometimes you get looked over when the store is busy but that's to be expected. I hang out there pretty often. read more

We came in on April 28 for the first time to buy ammo and left empty-handed. It was difficult to get anyone's attention for assistance, and when we did, we started by saying we wanted to purchase a long list of ammo we looked up on the website. An employee directed us to the ammo section then walked away, apparently assuming we were all set rather than asking us. We looked on our own and couldn't find what we wanted, so we left. Since we are usually not in this part of Georgia, it would have been convenient to make a purchase in-store. read more

Was extremely disappointed last night when arriving at the store at 7:30pm local time and seeing the light dimmed and appearing the store was close. Now I had called ahead of time for the store hours, which total my 8pm local time. I was a little disappointed, then drove up to a gas station near the store to fill up. While I was there I looked up the hours again and called the number. The message stated 8pm local time again, so I left the gas station and went back to the store. I got out and walked up to the door. I saw people inside, but the enter doors were closed and locked. A few of the people inside looked at me and I asked if the store was closed or not. I was ignored and the people just walked away giving no response. Extremely disappointed in the HUGE lack of response from the workers. My wife, who is foreign was questioning why they were closed, when the sign and message said 8pm. I just simply told her welcome to the US and customer service. I have done a fair amount of business with Palmetto and honestly thinking of changing my business from them. Just so someone reading this from Palmetto. I was looking to purchase 2 hands guns and that would have been about a 2k purchase, that I am looking to purchase elsewhere now. Customer service needs to be better, with the state of the economy and where it is going. Keeping a loyal customer should be number 1 on business minds these days. Joe, our salesman was outstanding. This was our first time purchasing our own gun, he was SO patient, SO informative and knowledgeable. We explained exactly what we were looking for and he delivered to an even higher standard than what we would have wanted. He helped us choose bullets, cleaning supplies, and cleaning supplies for our cleaning supplies. Not to mention, while he was on his way out the door.. he saw we were looking at another product and he took ANOTHER 10 minutes to help us. He was absolutely what we needed for such an important purchase. The man who did our background check (I can't remember his name, maybe Jim?) was so kind and extremely patient with us. The young woman at the cash register (with your beauty of a ring) is so personable and easy to find conversation with. We couldn't be happier with where we purchasedj. Do not rely on floor staff to know about ammo. I was sold the wrong ammo only to find out the receipt states it can't be returned. That's not helpful after you bought it. Maybe there was a sign that ammo can't be returned but I never saw it. Management wouldn't consider letting me return $100 worth of un opened ammo or allow a store credit. I won't go back or recommend them. read more
