After looking all over North York (and not wanting to go downtown) for a Toronto shot glass to bring to a friend in San Diego, we finally found a couple at Palmtree gift shop. This was after looking at 15 or so other stores in the area. This was the only place where we found a decent selection of tourist merchandise, clear in the back of the store. They had a lot of other cute things as well, and prices were not outrageous (although not real bargains either).
If you enter the building on Yonge Street, the store is clear at the back of the little shopping center, on the left hand side. It is a teeny shop, but chock full of gift items. Glad I finally know this is here, after years of visiting family in North York. read more
