There is one classroom with an amazing and dedicated teacher, she really goes above an beyond every day. There is also one additional parent volunteer. You end up working about one day a month. A maximum of 12 children, so the ratio is great. It is a wonderful, nurturing, fabulous introduction to school and I couldn't recommend it more.

The hubs and I were looking to perfect our cha-cha and found Coral Abel's teaching style friendly, approachable, and positive. The best part is Coral's lessons are extremely customizable. If you want to learn competitive styling, she can teach it. If you just want to learn dances for social occasions, she can teach it! If you're looking for some moves that you can apply at a club, wedding, or random music event, Coral can teach it. I felt extremely comfortable with her...she didn't rush us, and gave us plenty of time to become comfortable with a new move before adding a new one. It takes me almost 40 minutes to get to the studio but I don't care...it's worth it. This is a very neat, clean, organized little studio with a huge dance floor and competent sound system. And really, the price for a private lesson is EXTREMELY REASONABLE and VERY AFFORDABLE!

I had been looking for a flight school for my teenage son, who aspires to be a pilot, and I came…read moreacross American Winds on Groupon. With such a great deal, I couldn't pass it up. When I called to get information and to schedule the lesson, I was overwhelmed by the amount of information I was given. The woman asked about my son's height and weight to determine the plane he would be assigned. Being tall and thin, she told me he would fly a Warrior, which is a low-wing plane. She told me the fuel and taxes were an additional $44 and an additional rider would be $30- can't go wrong with either! She told me that if he was interested in getting his license he should have an FAA log book. So, I bought him one for his 17th birthday and told him he was going to fly the following morning. Hey couldn't believe it! We arrived at our scheduled time and met his pilot, Josh, who is a recent graduate from Kent State. He asked if I would be flying with them and I said I hadn't planned on it. My son, however, wanted me to and what mom would pass on that?! We flew over West Branch and the surrounding area- all the while getting continuous, in-dept flight instruction and information. I sat behind the two of them taking pictures with a happy heart. Josh provided my son with so much instruction that impressed us both. He treated us with so much respect and professionalism that would impress anyone. After the flight, Josh made the first entry in my son's log book, which was so cool! This was such a fantastic experience from beginning to end. I hope to return and highly recommend American Winds to anyone interested in becoming a pilot.

Then we asked the pastor about becoming members and he said he would "be in touch." For more than a year, we would ask the pastor again every few months, only to hear "I'll call you," or "I'll be touch." One Sunday they announced a new member class from the pulpit. We signed up for the class in the church office (only names on it at the time). Nobody ever mentioned the class again and nobody contacted us about it. In the meantime, the children's church school teacher brought up to the students (including our daughter) about becoming acolytes. Our daughter was interested and we were told to speak to a committee leader. She also put us off with "I'll be in touch" for several months until she had our daughter acolyte one time as a helper. We asked when she could do it again and were told, "Sorry, I just made the schedule for the next year, and there are no dates open." We stopped attending the church.
