First day, she was left in a wheelchair for over 3 hours, just sitting in her room. The nurse that was on shift claimed that she didn't know what to do with her and proceeded to state how she was an ICU nurse and that this was her first and last day at Ridgecrest because they couldn't afford her. She was extremely unprofessional and her lack of care, didn't go unnoticed. The wait time from call button to someone coming in, is roughly 45 minutes. Mind you my mother-in-law had serious health conditions that required monitoring and appropriate care to ensure she remains as healthy as possible. Unfortunately, Friday, January 30, she had swelling in her arm and requested that she be taken to the hospital. The nurses recommendation was vitamin K. After insisting, she was finally transported. Upon arriving at the hospital, she was in critical condition with her blood pressure severely low and declining. The emergency department and ICU did all they could to get her stable but to no avail. She has passed away, leaving three boys behind. Complaint has been filed with the state in hopes of saving someone else from this pain. I'm sure that there are staff here with good intentions, but it is blatantly obvious that they have poor management and lack the resources to care for their patients.

I had such a strong cough that I was vomitting and couldn't get through my daily duties because the cough was so severe. The staff really listened to my issues and were so compassionate. I am truly grateful for the very skilled Nurse Practitioner-- a nice young lady, blonde hair-- forgot her name. She gave me just what I needed to heal and after just 24 hours I am a new person. They lack continuity of procedures. Every SHIFT is like getting a new employee. They look for the patient to educate and train their employees! I believe with implemented procedures that are required to be followed with accountability it would improve. However with the inadequate accountability to follow procedures and proper oversight by management the AIDS are run amok! So many "selling" points that don't translate to operations! We have several very nice caring nurses & aids .... not enough GOOD aids for night & weekend shifts...and it only takes 2-3 days for the wheels to fall off, pictures are worth 1000 words! However I still dont understand how they didnt see anything. He didnt void(urine) for 3days. He went back on the 3rd day and they question his urine output. They didnt even take him out of the bed to go to the bathroom. Put him in a brief. Mind you my father was up and moving around good after his hip replacement. If you dont get a person up to move around the chances of blood clots is high. So yes my father died from the blood clots that was formed for the hip replacement. I pray if you read this. Make sure you keep looking. You dont want your love one to go in the first day and be met with CNA's and nurses starting off neglecting your love one.

I called several of them, but when I spoke with Jon Searles, I knew I had found the place we should use. My sister and I live out of town so we had to be confident with the company we selected. Jon has so much knowledge in this industry, and he truly cares about his clients. He was always very caring and kind when speaking with my Mother about her care and explained everything very thoroughly. He always went out of his way to make sure we received the quality of care my Mother deserved. All of the staff at Right at Home were so professional and kind. I truly think God intervened and brought this company to us because they were a god send.
