Finally tried their salad after passing by every evening for several years now. Usually there's a…read moreline out the door, so I've been wondering what all the fuss is about. It's a salad bar. I had the salad niçoise, which was ok...perhaps too heavy on the dressing. The salad included a mix of greens, tuna, olives, egg, kapers, potato, green beans. The potatoes already had their own dressing and seasoning, so it ended up being a bit too much once more dressing was added to the salad. The olives and kapers also added quite a bit of saltiness that was a little too much for my taste. The classic salads on their menu are 79 kr, and I think you definitely get a good amount of food. It easily filled me up for dinner. I'll definitely get the dressing on the side next time. It's just an ok place for me. Not really much better or worse than other salad bars I've tried.

Anyways, we tried the Pumpkin soup instead and it was really good! I was pleasantly surprised how full I was after the soup but it was very thick. The soup was topped with some fresh herbs, cauliflower and roasted nuts and came with two small pieces of bread on the side. The soup was very tasty and a decently sized portion but I would have never paid full price for it (85kr). The 2-for-1 deal was a good way to try the soup but unfortunately I don't think I'll get it again because of the price. I may go back to try the salads instead because many people around us had them and they looked amazing (and were around the same price as the bowl of soup). The cafe entrance is a little hard to find at first, but just go around the corner into the little alley way and you'll see the door on the side. Inside there are quite a few seats and the lighting is somewhat dim so it feels very cosy inside.

We didnt have anything we didnt like here. On the first day, we had crayfish salad sandwich and a small salad. For the salad, you can choose up to three types and we had the couscous, green beans, and pasta salad. We wolfed both down cleanly. The second day, we had the crayfish salad sandwich again, and a chicken sandwich, and another small salad. The food here is so FRESH that you dont feel guilty for eating as much as I did. The prices are reasonable, about 50 dkk a sandwich and 45 dkk for a little salad. We loved the place so much that I even took home the menu. It's a small place and has limited seating.
