Our first experience since having been in Germany for a week where we didn't feel alienated for not being able to speak German beyond the basics. He immediately brought over English menus without us asking and was happy to speak in English with us. The staff was amazing, bilingual, very friendly and welcoming. Their prices are dirt cheap, 99czk for a whole pizza, fresh out of the oven as well. They have a little sitting area or offer take away. They entertained me while I was waiting, talking to me and asking where I was from. They also have seasonings and a fresh homemade sauces to add to your pizza right next to the counter. They are delicious and free! The pizza is also the BEST I have had in Europe, next to Italy of course. They do it well, the right way and for the right price. Upon arrival we went up some very nice stairs, but we were disappointed to learn they couldn't seat us because we didn't have a reservation. Sad and disappointed, we went back down, but noticed they have a smaller section at the entrance where they serve tables in the main square right in front. When we asked, they said they could accommodate us, so we sat there. We ordered 3 different pizzas. I don't remember the exact names, but both the dough and the ingredients were very good. The service was very good they gave us great recommendations several times for both the pizzas and dessert. The tiramisu was spectacular. We also tried the mascarpone with strawberries, which was a seasonal item not on the regular menu, and it was equally delicious so much so that we ended up ordering an extra tiramisu. (This time I forgot to take photos... being on vacation and in a group is such a distraction ) Despite the initial scare with the reservation, the experience ended up being very pleasant. A good option if you're in the area.
