Not impressed by the food, the salad bar was slim pickings, the meat runners were few and far between. The service was slow.

It was ok. Meats were dry and already cut up in little pieces. Not cutting it off of bigger pieces of meat like usual churasqueiras.

This is one those places where you sit down and can never leave. I heard that it started as a small…read moretaco stand and just grew into this fancy establishment. There's valet parking in the front for the nice cars, indoor seating and outdoor patio seating where you can watch the grille master at work. I sat down and started with some Bucchanan's whiskey with mineral water, moved onto Carajillos (whiskey and espresso), then finished with some tequilla of course. The waiter does not measure how much he is pouring. Si esta bien. He just eye balls it and I am a happy customer. Food is great also. I've only ordered cochinitas and aquachille de Camaron (shrimp cerviche) but still very delicious. Cochinitas are pretty simple to eat obviously because it is like tacos. Some salsa and lemon will do the trick. Aquachille de Camaron takes little bit of work. Grab a tortilla, get a scoop of the shrimp, onions, peppers and avocado, squeeze some lemon and just go for it. It's fresh and has a kick. Their favorite item from what I saw other people order were Mojarra Entera (grilled fish) and Pulpo ala Parrilla (grilled octopus). I should've tried it but ran out of time. We were there for 4 hours just drinking and eating. Time flies when you are having a good time. I shall return.

Great Mexican seafood chain and this establishment is no exception. They give you complimentary…read moreseafood broth to start your meal, pictured. The menu is pretty large but it's pretty hard to go wrong. I'd recommend the ceviche to start.

Food, and all food, both coming from animals and plants should be treated with respect, because there is sanctity in life and all life should be respected and held in high-esteem, but I digress. I could never be a vegetarian. I am a carnivore, and believe I have been created one, and it is places like this that make me remember how much I love meat. So I apologize to my vegetarian friends as I mean no disrespect. Following an Argentinian-style menu but named after a famous Uruguayan song, which was actually a point of discussion in our table during our last meal, Che Papusa might well be the best steakhouse in all of Querétaro. The dark lit room boasts plenty of pictures of places and people from both Uruguay and Argentina on its walls, a flurry of loud businessmen adorning the various tables, and white tablecloths ready to take on drops of succulent meat juice to bare witness of the feast about to take place. The various cuts of meat that the restaurant carries are cooked in a precise and deft manner, cooked to the customer's wishes, which should always be medium or medium rare for every well-discerning patron. Here is where I have had what I consider to be the best Bife de Chorizo in town, fatty enough to provide that great juiciness and tenderness that this cut offers. The Empanadas, a dish served in every self-denominated Argentinian restaurant in Mexico, are tasty as well and a good way to start the meal, but the one appetizer that needs to be ordered here are the Mollejas de Res. Order, make a taco out of them, and be transported into meat paradise, and if you're still curious ask your server what exactly you just ate. Even then you will still not regret taking a bite of these Mollejas. All hearty meals must end with chocolate, I believe, and Che Papusa was there to appease. In the end, my canines were grateful for the workout. Definitely a can't miss for Querétaro's meat-loving populace.
