First and last time coming here. They advised me they could match my color when I walked through the doors, which they were not able. It was a simple very light blue with a shimmer on it. Sophia did not even try, just handed me the swatches. Sophia who did my nails had the dirtiest workstation using a paintbrush to wipe my hands, the dirtiness that was just disgusting. Originally I just wanted to fill, and I told her that my nails underneath felt loose and she suggested a complete full set which of course cost more money, than the taking off cost money and then the shape cost money. One coat of polish, and the , and I was done acrylic nails. I wish this business the best. They offered me a water. This experience was with this particular technician. read more

I came to get a pedicure and chose the Deluxe . First of all, the lady did gel polish first and didn't even file down or cut down some of my nails that needed it or file them and cut me near my cuticle, causing it to bleed. Then she said something about doing paraffin wax and hot towels, so I said ok. No mention of it being an added charge. Most places I've been include that in a basic, but for sure include it in a $65 pedicure. I ended up spending $84, I needed one acrylic nail on due to a broken toe nail. $12 to put hot towels and paraffin. The man at the front just said, "I'm sorry" when I told him the up charge was not communicated, No offer to take it off. I was already disappointed with the service, but I had a gift card and that made me feel better until I realized I had to pay $34 extra dollars after my gift card, with $12 being added without telling me it was extra. It's not just the up charge, it just wasn't a great pedicure overall. I don't ever leave reviews, but this was a very disappointing experience and the lack of care the man had who checked me out was also upsetting. read more

I recently visited pamper & polish, Monday 3/10/23 and I was excited that they were able to accept walk in, 1015. Cindy, was very friendly and she finished up my nails after my technician, never got her name, was assigned over to another client. My nails turned out great, I love the color I chose (116 or 118 dip). Only negative is that she didn't care for my cuticles, I'm not sure if this is a service I needed to add on, I've never had my cuticles left out during manicures. im really over this place being so inconsistent. i have grown out my natural nails and only do hybrid gel on top. i came in today for a fill with my nails at a medium/long length, i asked that they be shortened just a bit. the tech shorten them and showed me and i approved because they were exactly where i wanted them. by the time she started painting, my nails were EXTREMELY short!! she filed and filed and filed while "shaping" my nails, which are not the shaped i asked for. i like VERY square nails, and she gave me square with rounded edges. i am so disappointed. this place is so hit or miss. now my nails are extremely short after weeks of growing them to a spot i wanted. dont think i will be returning again. read more

I have been going to this place for quite a while now and usually I am totally happy. I have recommended it to my daughter and even bought gift cards for her. She has never been thrilled with them, but this week she went and had a terrible experience. She has written a review as well. I called them and basically there was not much reaction. My hard gel nails always last 4-6 weeks with their work. I travel worldwide for work but I will always wait until I'm back in Austin to get a fill! Churn and burn should be their motto. While the end product was great, I shouldn't have to request they clean up excess dip powder and polish around my nail and fingers. They told me "oh it'll come off in a few days." but I washed multiple times, even scrubbed my fingers in their sink and the excess was not coming off. A little more attention to the final detail would have been nice. Instead, I went home and had to use a qtip around every fingernail. I would go back but I do feel extremely awkward without genuine conversation with the technicians as I sit for over an hour. Customer connection was definitely missing. I came in after a long day of moving and wanted a nice relaxing pedicure. I told the guy at the front that I would like someone who gives out really good massages because my feet were killing me. I picked my color and sat in the chair. The girl that was chosen to do my toes had a terrible demeanor. She didn't ask if I wanted anything to drink (of course the people across from me were asked) and to say it was the worst foot massage would be putting it lightly. I paid for at least 5 minutes for each foot but probably got a minute and it wasn't really a massage at all. That is all I was really excited for I also only got two coats for a light color and you can see through in spots. She never came back or said thank you, so I honestly didn't know if she was finished or not. I was wishfully thinking she would come back and do a lotion massage, but I waited and waited. She never came back, so I got up and left. I will never go back there. It was a very disappointing experience. read more

I was extremely disappointed in the nail services, and the customer service at this place. I requested a basic gel pedicure. She must have charged for "callus removal," even though I did not ask for that. She had some gel or scrub in her hand, and asked where I wanted it but never said it was extra. I told her I only wanted it on the sides of my feet, not the soles, because I thought it was a scrub. She barely put any on at all, and it took about 5 seconds. My basic gel pedicure should have been $50 according to their menu, but I was charged $57. The same lady did my dip nails with tips and was so incredibly rough. She used the drill on my cuticles--I guess because that is easier, but it was excruciating. I reflexively yanked my hand away when I felt a cut, but she did not stop. She told me to go wash my hands, and I noticed my fingers were bleeding. She did not seem concerned, and then just tried to put a gel top coat on instead of the dip. I told her my fingers were hurting and that I was going to need to go home and put an antibiotic ointment on them. She said something to the man at the front desk, then came back with an open jar of Vaseline and tried to put some on my fingers. I said no, that is not good for this. She went back and came back with some Neosporin and a q-tip, and because I was in so much pain I let her put that on. She did a horrible job filing my nails, and some were lopsided. She also filed them down so much I wondered why I even paid for tips that you could barely tell I had on. I was so ready to get out of there, my nails were still bleeding, inflamed, and very painful, I didn't even care at this point. The cost of my terrible dip nail service was $52, for a total of $109. The man at the desk had witnessed and knew about my bleeding and painful nails, could see they were red and inflamed, and did not say a word, ask me any questions, apologize, or offer any discount at all. I paid, but I would not go back, or ever recommend this place to anyone. Disgusting customer service, and painful, horrible nail service. read more

I have a wedding in the morning and I arrived at 6:15 to get a polish change on my toes and my fingers (I had them done 10 days ago) The lady tells me I need a fill, I said OK but do have time? Overall,it was terrible service and the staff was rude. I went with my mother and 10 year old daughter. To get manicures and pedicures, and I made an appointments in advance. They started my nails, then my daughter, but my mom waited for more than 15 minutes while staff walked around. Even my daughter who is 10 asked why they hadn't helped her. They only painted my daughters nails even though I asked for manicure and pedicure. The person who did my nails, didn't paint my full nail on multiple fingers and acted like she couldn't see what I talking about when I asked her to fix it. My mother ultimately did not get a manicure because I had finished both in the by the time she finished her pedicure. read more

PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHO YOU GO TO! I have been coming here for about a year now but the last time I went in was horrific... I had an acrylic set that was way over due from a salon out of town. When I sat down I expected my nail tech to drill down my nails and soak them in acetone (the safest way for the health of your nails) but she didn't do that at all. She grabbed her nail tip box, grabbed one out and started digging under my acrylic set and ripping them off my natural nails. Every single nail hurt so bad and stung as she did this to my entire hand even though I was jerking my hand away and told her it was hurting me. She finally got to my last nail and was struggling to get under my nail and when she finally did, she ripped off half of my real nail as well. The tip of my finger instantly started throbbing and felt on fire and immediately started bleeding all over the white towel. This made me so nauseous as I'm sensitive to blood. She poured some white powder on the part of my nail bed that was bleeding and was using the white towel to dab up the blood since it kept bleeding. Like I said I was nauseous and passed out yet she KEPT WORKING ON MY NAILS. I woke up to another lady pouring soda down my mouth and to tips already glued onto my nails. She glued a tip onto my open wound. I was so in shock I excused myself and puked I felt so queasy. I washed my hands and then finally got a good look at my nail and took these pictures. I was so out of it they rushed me out of the bathroom and sat me down and kept working. I should've just left after she tried popping off my nails. I've never had a problem here before until this but this experience was awful and I will never be coming back. read more
