This is also the biggest pet shop in County Road and one which has a decent variety of well looked after pets, accessories and food. The staff are always friendly and willing to help although at times you need to be patient before you get seen to, as it does get busy on occasions. If you are a lover of pets, this is a great place to come for a browse and be able to obtain tips and advice from knowledgeable staff. Personally, I have been to places that sell a wider variety of fish but if you're after reptiles or spiders for instance, then this is your Aladdin's cave!

Staff always make a fuss of them, other customers also make a fuss especially my smaller dog. If we don`t need anything it`s just like window shopping for dogs. The shops always tidy and clean, the staff always make our visit special and on occasion if their prices don`t reflect the same as other stores for the same product they have price matched. Can `t say fairer than that. They do lots for animal charities and i have adopted a 1 eyed rabbit and guinea pig from them. Still with me to this day. All in all a great shopping experience for pets and people. Top marks from me.,

This shop also stocks Burn's Pet food (a very high quality food which is not available at supermarkets, pets at home etc) The prices are reasonable for that of an independent business and the customer service is second to none. They also do dog grooming, onsite, who I can highly recommend, and again the prices are reasonable.

Oh yes, this is the only pet shop in the Eccles, Salford area to sell kittens! Look away now! They all look so healthy, clean and did I mention cute?! Kittens are around the £45 mark. The two people I have dealt with are very nice and put on a show to make the sell but I suppose that's how they make money. The animals all seemed healthy and in although small locations they were clean and hygienic. Also being an independent store the prices are a bit steep as opposed to pets at home but I would rather go here than Pets at Home any day. One thing I will mention the guy informed me the kitten I later bought was 8 weeks and have to having her checked at a vet and by my mother (a formerly veterinary nurse) this wasn't the case. She was 5- 6 Weeks old too young to be away from the mother which does worry me a lot. Shop here with caution!

The shop is large and modern and well laid out with good lighting. There is level access and wide doors suitable for disabled shoppers and there are a number of disabled parking spaces at the front of the store. The staff at pets at home are very knowledgeable about their stock and can point you in the right direction for whatever you need. Within the store there are different areas for different types of animals, cats, dogs, rabbits and guinea pigs, hamsters,gerbils, fish birds, equine, and within each area you will find all manner of items suitable for that species. The store also sells, rabbits, guinea pigs, small rodents, aviary birds, and aquarium fish, along with the hutches, cages and tanks necessary for keeping them successfully. They will not sell pets to children without an adult and will give you lots of advice on caring for your pet etc before you take it home. Dogs are welcome on a lead within the store and there are usually several bowls of water provided for them too. Most pet foods and bedding can be bought in bulk packs at pets at home which can be very economical, and as the car park is right outside the front door is an ideal way to get bulky items home, staff will even help you carry stuff out to your car if you ask.
