This staff member could see me struggling yet seemingly couldn't be bothered to try and help, let alone answer my calls for help because I could not even reach what I needed and I was the only person in the store. Saying that they have a great selection of pet paraphernalia and decent pet foods. Pet toys are really over priced though so go elsewhere for them. If you are disabled steer clear though, its hard enough to get down the isles let alone get help.

However, I challenge you to come out without having bought a treat or two as well! The shop is quite densely packed with goods, but the staff are always friendly and keen to help you find whatever you're looking for. In fact the service is consistently excellent, and the welcome the resident dogs give you is always enthusiastic! My only quibble is that some things are slightly over-priced, especially the cat litter, although the convenience of location and long opening hours means I forgive them!

I hadn't been in there in a long time so popped in today with my daughter in her pushchair. I tried to go round one side of the shop and there was not enough room for the pushchair so I had to go back round the other way. I always remember there being a lot of animals in there despite the shop being small but today there was only fish and some small animals , all of the bird cages were empty. The dish tanks looked like they needed a good clean and the fish didn't look as healthy as they should. All in all I was pretty disappointed with this petshop this time around.

The shopowner is extremely knowledgeable about the pets he sells and is always happy to give advice. The delivery service is great for heavy items such as cat litter. The owner will go out of his way to help if you need anything. It does not matter that the shop is small it is the customer service you get that is important. Mrs Head (a very satisfied customer)

Gentleman in there is very rude and talked to me like I was dirt. Always was kind to him complimenting him on the products and how affordable they were. Always purchased items from there over a fiver which judging by how empty it is there all the time made at least a slight difference to him. Never again will I buy something from there.. There are ways to talk to people but he was just plain rude and unprofessional. I've managed a couple of shops and never have I ever talked to my customers in that way.. Without customers you won't be able to make a living..! Simple!

If he was on the phone it would be because he was the only person in the shop at the time and trying to do several things at once. He very helpfully will deliver pet food to your home in the evening and works extremely hard. It is not a very well-lit shop, admittedly, but he has a huge range of stock. I think it is really important to support small local businesses and I have had nothing but positive experiences here over many years.
