I always have the hot wing combo, not the most popular thing on the menu but I like them. They are always cooked fresh and usually would have about a 7 minute cook time, which is fine; but the staff always get them on when I come in, so they are just about done by the time I go to order! The place is always spotlessly clean and they are always cleaning something. I try and visit them about once a week. I have been going to this one for about a year and I have never had a bad experience. Highly recommend it!

Just enough sliced green pepper, onion and carrot. There is an adequate burn from the black pepper to make it very interesting. We crave it. The other dishes are good. The lemon chicken is such comfort food, that you might want to at least try it to balance out the savoury dishes. This is a friendly atmosphere where the lady/mother/chef/boss is an absolute delight, and this community should keep supporting such industrious, genuine food businesses, especially in West Lethbridge. The other plus is that it is beside an excellent, comprehensive, compounding pharmacy, close to a bottle depot, and has ample parking.

We decided to try out their version of "Banh Mi" Sandwich! We walked in the restaurant, [which is more like an unadorned Cafeteria, truly "Plain Jane" ]... Luckily it's in a Mall and there was tons of parking. My husband is 67 and I'm 75... He had a stroke and has Parkenson's... So my TOP priority was to find him comfortable-suitable seating. There was nobody standing around that we noticed, and at the time, nor did I notice a "wait to be seated" sign... ​It was around noon, there were only two tables with customers.... ​So we decided to walk over to one of the MANY empty tables... I was totally concerned about finding a spot for my husband to sit... Our intentions were to sit and order sandwiches 'to go' which wasn't going to take long. as we had an appointment coming up...​ Suddenly, this short [30ish something?] woman came marching over, voice ​piercing the air and sounding REALLY LOUD, ​looking extremely angry, and telling us/ordering us to 'get back', we had to "be seated, because we have customers coming!" She DID NOT ask us what we wanted to do? Well, this place didn't look anything like a "Keg" or some other 'high end' place where where we would expect somebody to seat us... so we were somewhat taken aback... She continued to LOUDLY broadcast her orders towards us... Customers were staring... It was mortifying. My husband is NOT well, and he felt intimidated and said "Let's get out of here!" And as we were walking out, the 'mini tyrant' continued her verbal attack on us... She continued yelling as we negotiated the exit door... I turned and said "you have lost two customers" and we left... She could serve us a sandwich on GOLD buns but we will NEVER go back there again... That woman could use some lessons in customer relations... She reminded me of "A Pitbull with Lipstick" ... At any rate, we walked over to "Original Joe's" right next door, and were told to sit "where ever" we wanted to! We also had a great Lunch... No verbal abuse either.​...Missed our appointment but it was a great Lunch! There are OTHER Vietnamese restaurants around here where we have been treated decently... See you, Mama La's!!
