This place is absolutely one of the best mexican restaurants in this area, by far. When you walk in here you realize the nostalgia of being in a mexican restaurant that sells good food, Period! Even though this place is right across from SW, I would rather drive a little farther to get decent food. I walked in during mid day on a weekend and I saw a few customers waiting for their food but for some odd reason, the shop was dead quiet o_O I ordered a California burrito with the guacamole and salsa on the side. It must of been like 8 or 9 minutes before they called the first order out for one of the customers that had been there since before we got there. So 13 minutes after I ordered, I finally got my food.. dang thats the longest I've ever waited for a simple burrito. The guacamole was brown and tasted awful :( The burrito was okay.. I've had better. and they give it to you on a little styrofoam plate where there's barely enough room for the actual burrito, so when I tried to open it I had to put napkins around it. read more

This place has disappointed me more than once but last night was the last straw. All I wanted was caldo de res because I wasn't feeling well. I opened the bag and there was no onions rice or cilantro. Ok fine I'll cut some up no biggie. Once I opened it the broth itself looked so dark and had a strong smell. The meat was not tender and only a couple pieces. The carrots and potatoes were hard and the corn was very mushy. Did not add up. I didn't even eat it. I forgot about this entire shopping plaza after Henry's became a Faux Henry's and then just gave up and closed. There is a new reason to stop... The shredded beef tacos (see pic) here are good. The beef is hot and juicy, the taco shells freshly-fried. I'll be back to sample some of the other offerings. There are a handful of tables for dine-in... which made me laugh at the guy who ordered right before I did. Wanted menudo. It was full mostly of bones and gristle. If you've ever had menudo you know you might find some in there but most of the menudo was just bones and chunks of not food. -3 stars. LAST STRAW. I've been trying to support this shop but the service is terrible and food is okay. All of my bad experiences have been with the shorter stout woman. The final experience I had with her was calling in an order, being told it was gonna take 10 minutes, and coming 30 minutes later and having her aimlessly searching for an order she obviously didn't put in. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED WITH HER. She then proceeded to act like the order was almost ready and took another 20 minutes for me to get. I had made ONE substitution and asked her if it was made she assured me it was. I left because I was over it and got home realized she had lied to my face and didn't get my order right. I should've have known because 9/10 times they will get your order wrong. She also stays talking to the chefs while we wait in line to give our orders, she's rude, and on several occasions she texts while taking orders IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS. Carne Asada was gray and the burrito itself was moist like it was dropped in water. Rolled tacos are shit and filled with rice, salsa is whack, and quesadillas has weird smelling cheese. I'm one customer that they can probably afford to lose but me and the family will not be eating from here again. Super consistent. This is my go to as far as Mexican food. I've had the Adobada Tacos and they are great! I've had the Carne Asada Burrito, my husband likes the California Burrito and he's had it with Pollo Asada and Carne and both ways were good. My son loves the Carne Asada Fries but he now gets it with Pollo. I like that they have the Salsa Bar so you can get whatever salsas you like. The prices are good. I like Lolitas but their prices tend to be a bit on the higher side and to be honest the food here could rival that place. We can call in orders and they are always consistent and correct. I used to Love this place and rave about it to all my friends but the service and the quality of the food has gone from a 5star to a two star! They have a newer girl, light skin, dark hair who works there that is always arguing with the cooks when I go and is very rude to customers.I was out in hold and after about 5min I hung up, called back and then got out I hold for almost 10min. Ended up placing my order while in the parking lot and was told my order would be ready in 20min. Went in, paid, girl had an attitud, I went I get my othe food next door, came back and asked if that was my order sitting on the side and she even repeated my order to me and I said yes. She then says, "I don't know if that's yours since you didn't come to the register and pay, " I said, "yes I did, I've been waiting for 15-20min, I even signed the receipt." She had a major attitude and says no you didn't and starts looking through her receipts, and I pointed mine out and she said you didn't pa. I asked her if I sign the receipt did not go through and she said I don't know it's showing me you didn't pay, proceeds to roll her eyes & say that I'll just give it to you since there's a receipt and hands it to me with an attitude! I arrived and asked for my order politely and waited for approximately 25 minutes until I became curious of my order.. well came to realize chatty cashier INDIRA was too busy in the chisme with the cook that she didn't give our order when it was clearly there for those 25 minutes we waited.. obviously the food was cold by then and offered to fix it but not really because we'd have to start all over in line and reorder and wait approximately 30 minutes.. instead of arguing with idiotic employees .. I just preferred to have my money returned. Such a same this place use to be a great fast food stop but with bad management it has turned into a horrible taco that I wouldn't recommend.. honestly the tacos next door at Jack n Box are more flavorful and plus better service if you need a quick bite . I really love their food but hadn't been back in a while, maybe since before covid. My husband warned me he stopped coming here because he too got sick once after eating their food. Unfortunately, I got sick the next morning, ended up in the ED after eating a burrito. Sick a whole week. Maybe a viral infection or something, but it was the absolute last thing and only thing I ate that night. I'm really hoping they're following guidelines and protocols for wearing masks and washing hands etc. Based on the many other reviews that they're not. Of the three machaca breakfast burritos that I ate last week, the one I had from Los Panchos was easily the best. The burrito was delicious. The beef/onion/pepper mixture was loaded with delicious flavor, the eggs were cooked perfectly, and it was all wrapped in a nice warm tortilla. I've had several different breakfast burritos (or BB's as I like to call them) from there, and they have all been really tasty. I haven't found a Mexican food place that I absolutely love in the Eastlake area yet, but this place is among the top contenders (based on the breakfast burritos alone, cause that's all I've tried from here). It's only about 2 miles from my brothers house, it's open late and they have good salsa, so I have nothing to complain about thus far. I know Los Panchos isn't really the best there is, cause it is Los Panchos after all, so I'm just waiting for the day when I order something different, like carne asada fries or something, and it will suck ass, and I will totally hate it, and then I will hate Los Panchos, and then I'll vow to never even return there for as long as I live. read more

This was my first time here so I can't really give a review for the rest of the food because the only thing I ordered was Carne Asada fries, which was really great. The meat was perfect and the cheese was delicious, (Maybe cause I was really hungry at the time. Lol.) But I can give a review on the overall restaurant which I think was pretty cool. It's small with eight tables (I Think) which is great for groups/families and kids. The restaurant was clean and actually quite busy which tells me the food here is great. The music that was being played, I didn't understand but it kept the room lively, to me at least. Very upbeat and I was bobbing my head to the music. I will be coming here many more times now that I know I have a nearby Mexican restaurant. read more

I am biased to the only burrito I have ordered and eaten here: Surf n' Turf. This burrito is so good! The chipotle sauce in combination with the shrimp and carne asada are an amazing combination! All Los Panchos are overrated! I've only been here twice in the last week because two of my friends were already here eating. On one of their breakfast burritos I ordered, I asked the girl at the register if I can get it without ham and if it was possible to substitute it for salsa fresca and she said, no. I didn't get upset that she said no because I know how it can be sometimes about substituting items, but, I know their ham is more expensive than the salsa fresca so in my point of view I'm saving them meat for other burritos in exchange for just a little bit of salsa fresca which is worth a lot less as far as value. So I ordered my burrito with egg, potato, cheese and I paid extra for beans and salsa fresca. A few minutes later, I got my burrito and within several bites I noticed that the cook forgot to add beans and cheese to my burrito. I was really close to throwing that burrito in his face. I was that mad! So, I walked up to the girl and she explained to the cook that he forgot to add the beans and cheese and when I got my burrito back, there was a big puddle of beans and shredded cheese that wasn't even close to being melted. It grossed me out. On my second visit a few days later, they managed to get my burrito correct this time but the girl almost refused to give me extra napkins. To begin with, the type of napkin they provide are the very small and thin kind. I hate those napkins where you wipe your mouth once and its already all crumbled up. And, she only gave me about three so when I got up and asked her for a few more, she told me I had some in my plate already. I told her I knew that and I already had used them so then I asked her if I can please have a few more and she game a dirty look and gave me two more tiny napkins. As far as the burrito, both times the burritos were poorly wrapped, what a rookie. And, the burritos tasted average. Nothing special about them at all. The whole time I was eating with my friends, the cook and the register girl were looking over at our table. In order to calm my self from throwing that burrito back at them, I thought about the movie Anger Management when Jack Nicholson says "Goos fraba" in order to calm him self down.
