Then waited another 10 minutes for the order. When we got in the car to check the order, it wasn't ours, not even remotely the correct order. Food is terrible here. Went to the drive through at 9:00pm and ordered orange chicken, broccoli beef, and honey walnut shrimp. Let me start by saying everything tasted OLD. It also tasted like it was cooked on the same pan as other items (without being washed).. The orange chicken and honey walnut shrimp tasted very floury. The broccoli beef is easily one of the worst that I have ever had at any Panda Express. The broccoli was overlooked and the beef was jerky-like from being so old. It seems like there isn't enough business at this location to keep a fresh cycle of food going on. So for about $10, I ate maybe a fourth of my to-go plate. Very sad. The only positive comment I can make about this location is that the gal in the drive through was super nice. I'm a huge fan of Panda Express, but this was the first time I've come the Gallatin location and was severely disappointed. Panda Express is an expensive restaurant for cheap Asian cuisine, so I always have high standards that this location unfortunately didn't meet. I went to the restaurant mid-afternoon expecting good service and even better food, yet the serving size and quality were both severely under par. I got about half the amount of rice compared to previous dining experiences at the Hendersonville Indian Lake location, and a third of the chicken I've gotten before. Included are the pictures, mine is with shrimp, my girlfriend's with just chicken - I even payed extra for shrimp and got less rice and chicken than a normal meal! In conclusion, this restaurant is not worth the drive over, the money for the food, or your time. Go to the Hendersonville Indian Lake location for much better food and service at 208 N Anderson Ln. We went for a late dinner on Sat. night, around 8:30pm. Dining room was open. Got being 2 groups- one family who quickly ordered. Next mom & daughter tried to order 4 meals on the $29 special. All the same - noodles, healthy greens & walnut shrimp. With everyone on both sides of the glass, clerk couldn't understand their order, finally got it right. Until Mom made her count the shrimp in each styro box to make sure there were 7 in each box! Said"she was paying for it, wanted her money's worth. Meantime, clerks working drive-thru kept taking all the shrimp and other goodies, so tubs were always empty. Finally someone took pity on us, took our order. 1 plate w/rice, broccoli beef & honey sesame chicken. Beef was gone so she piled on broccoli. We made her pick all the tiny beef pieces so we got some meat. Other was noodles & honey sesame chicken. Fine, ready to pay. Oops. No one at register!! So she put our order BEHIND the big shrimp order!! We waited almost 10 minutes til mom was happy. Went to pay, she insisted on knowing the selection of sauces besides soy. Took her time deciding, clerk finally threw a mixed handful into bag. They debit card wouldn't work! Aaarrrggghhh...our food is throw-away quality by now! They finally paid, left, We paid, found a table to look at something we would feed our animals. Mini bites of brown meat with brownish broccoli that sat in the sauce way too long. The bowl was OK. Gallatin Panda - the lady that took our order did the right thing by taking our short order while others still deciding. But to stick it on the corner was WRONG. It accomplished nothing. Hubby wanted to refuse it and demand a refund, but I wouldn't let him. He stated at his Styrofoam, ate one bite, said he couldn't do it. We took it home. I ate it today, was OK for a leftover. But not "fresh" at the restaurant. I know there are hiring shortages and new staff, but you are going to list customers if this continues. Also, "vegetable oil" is not acceptable when asked what oil you use. I have peanut and soy allergies that cause anyphylaxis... researching online shows you have all "typical food allergies" . We called in a large order yesterday for a party this afternoon. Used a credit card at time of order! When we got there to pick up (30 min before our party was to start) there was 1 table with 3 people at it eating. So it wasn't like they were busy. Our order hadn't even begun to get put together and the woman said they've had people not come to pick up that's why they hadn't started it yet. Not to mention they were having a gossip session about personal issues. Then about 3/4 of the way through filling our order they yelled at the cooks to come out to cook some of what we ordered which was another 10 or so minutes of waiting. Normally I wouldn't complain ... but the whole purpose of ordering and paying before is that it should be hot and ready to pick up right? Especially when it's been paid for already! But we've already traveled 30 minutes to panda to get this specifically for our celebration and now another 30 minutes back plus the time we waited to get our order. I ordered a bowl with chow mein and chicken and asked for them to try and give me more noodles than the cabbage that is in the noodles (as I do at all Panda Express). When I pulled up to the window to pay I asked to add an order of egg roles and when I did the girl at the window literally looked at me and sighed/ growled very loud before getting it. When I opened my food afterwards I was given only one egg role and paid for two and I had no noodles in my bowl it was entirely vegetables almost. Never have I had such rude service. I finally decided to try Panda Express. I ordered a bowl of Chow Mein & Orange Chicken. First the chicken. Several pieces were over cooked in the fryer, to the point of hard & crunchy. The sauce was ok, I really couldn't tell the difference if I was told it was General Tso. The Chow Mein was, how can I say this, terrible. Dry, I couldn't spin it on my fork. Every time I tried, it would just fall off. I've tasted paste in grade school that had better flavor, even with the usual onions and green peppers. I wound up feeding the remainder of the noodles to the trash. There weren't any condiments I could find to save them, no soy sauce, duck sauce, Chinese mustard, sweet & sour. Nothing. Will I return. In one word "Nope". Next time I want Chinese food, I'll return to Fortune House in Hendersonville. Remember, if you read this, you have been warned. read more

I had a pretty horrendous experience at this location. I waited in the drive through for 38 minutes which normally wouldn't bother me. I'm a pretty understanding and patient person but when I got up to the window, no one came to greet me or anything. But I could see all the employees inside laughing and not really doing anything. One of the men working there was coughing all over the place which was super gross. When someone did finally come to the window she informed me that she was out of white rice. I said okay and to just give me brown rice. No worries. I paid. Waited another 10 minutes only for her to come back and say that they actually weren't out of white rice but were out of spring rolls. I had already paid so then they had to refund all my money and then ring me up again. I asked if they were short staffed tonight and they said no.
