Went to the Bellevue Panda at 8:20pm with our family of 5. The food was slim pickings and we were told what was left was all there was because the were closing in 30 minutes (actually 40) and weren't making anymore food. There wasn't enough to really chose from with many entrees completely gone and others that the remaining scraps didnt look great. We left and went to Culver's next door. Several others behind us were walking in. Not sure if they ate the leftovers or found better options as well. I'd get it if we were 10-15 minutes before closing but 40 minutes before closing that was very disappointing. read more

On a recent visit, we were looking for a change of pace for a quick lunch near my husband's family. Panda House had mixed reviews (mostly 5s with some 2s at the other end of the spectrum) with an overall high rating of 4.5 when we visited. Since dining there, I believe I can shed some light on the mixed reviews. We were a party of two visiting for lunch on a week day. The restaurant and signage shows some wear with fading and scuffs. It's a casual, no-frills dining environment. There were several other patrons having lunch when we arrived and we witnessed several carry-out orders taken out during the time we were there. We ordered two egg rolls, sesame chicken and kung pao shrimp. There are a lot of things they are doing right. The dining area and restroom was clean. The staff were professional and efficient. Our meal was brought out to our table shortly after we ordered. It was all presented nicely and was very good temperature. The egg rolls were the star of the meal. The wrapper had the perfect amount of crisp crunch, was not too thick (as some can be) and the overall taste was very good. The white rice that came with our meals was A-okay, nothing to complain about at all. The proteins (chicken and shrimp) were good quality and cooked nicely. All the vegetables were good quality, appeared to be freshly prepped and had good taste. I was very happy to see the lovely chunks of vegetables in the kung pao shrimp. Sometimes you are served such small slivers you have to work for a nice bite. The one thing, the BIG thing, the thing that prevented us from being able to enjoy our meals to their full potential, was the sauces. The egg rolls were great. However, the accompanying sauce added nothing of value. I tried the sauce for the first bite and then I skipped it. The sauces for our meals couldn't be avoided. They SHOULD bring everything together and make the dish shine. The taste of the sauces suggested they are using pre-made pre-packaged blends. They were overly thick, bland, seemed kind of off, had an unpleasant after taste and just were not good. Final Assessment: Our entrees (because of the sauces) rated 2 stars. However, the egg rolls are worthy of 4 stars on their own. My biggest wish for Panda House is for them to start making their own sauces. Or, if that isn't feasible, to find another source/brand for their sauces. read more

I've gone here several more times since my last review. Aside from being quite pricy for takeout (as my review and others mention), the food has been consistently good. Some of the dishes are extremely delicious - their teriyaki chicken dish and their mei fun dishes for example are now dishes I crave!! I don't think their strong suit is Americanized Chinese dishes (orange chicken, cheese wontons, ect) but lies in the more traditional dishes such as the mei fun. We get around the issue of them not serving water by bringing our own (ha) but have noticed a general lack in service for being a sit down restaurant, which is why this is still 4 stars. However I just wanted to update people, this place gets packed and there's sometimes several people waiting for their takeout at a time so plan ahead! read more

Pretty solid Chinese takeout, haven't been disappointed. I usually get a combo lo Mein and ask for it spicy, adding an egg roll. My daughter always gets the chicken fried rice. Panda is my go-to, I recommend it for sure! read more

Once in awhile I get a craving for really good potstickers and Panda House is the place to go for them. They're bot too far from where I work and it doesn't how much I order it's always "10 minutes" for pickup. I really haven't been adventurous and tried much else other than my usual comfort foods of steamed potstickers, egg drop soup and lo mein. The potstickers aren't too doughy and steamed just right. The dipping sauce is your run of the mill, not anything to brag about. Egg drop soup and lo mein are also quite tasty. It would be my runner up to China Wok (in Two Rivers, see that review). Not great, not bad. We got chicken lo main, Kung pao chicken, crab ran goons and broccoli with garlic sauce. All of it sort tasted the same... Soy salty and a greasy. But, we didn't have a single piece of chicken that tasted weirdly gamey or had gristle. also, the veggies tasted fresh and varied (snap peas, hunks of mushroom, carrot, celery, broccoli, onion). It filled the void, but left something to be desired... Like heat, flavor and a tums. Also, staff was a little brusk and they had no website. I would go again in a pinch. read more

I have been here before and like it however, they now charge a credit card free when you use your credit card. So my lunch meal is 6.00, they add 1.00 to it if you use your card. Then if you leave a tip your paying 9.00 for lunch meal. Not worth it anymore!! All the other Chinese restaurants in Green Bay charge only 5.50 to 6.00 for their lunch meals and you can use your credit card without added fees. Who uses cash anymore? Disappointed. read more

Yes a great place for lunch. Stopped here friday the 13th of July and it was Friday the 13th but a lucky day for first time here. Ordered garlic chicken plate $6.21 inc/tax. Wow. delivered to my table temp hot and very nicely plated on a square porcelain nice plate. And served with Silverware, wow no plastic here. Chicken was very tender, plenty, brocoli, water chestnuts, carrot strings, green peppers, bean sprouts, were just exquisite for a strip mall cafe. While dining for lunch for 20 minutes I must have seen a dozen "take and go" customers come and go so the place must be a fav. I checked on whether they cook with peanut oil and I was assured no peanut oil, they only cook with "soy bean" oil so not going to worry about that with the wife. We will be back. Easy park close and the staff very friendly. We are adding this to our favs. If I could give it any advice, and another star if I could, just add some nice music or a television but for 6 bucks for a excellent lunch, it is just fine. read more

Like others mentioned, yes it is quick carry out. Call ahead and it is there in 10 minutes. Overall we got 1 egg roll, Orange Chicken and large order of Chicken Fried Rice. Egg roll wasn't bad, orange chicken was a little on the spicy side, and the chicken friend rice was good, not great. My main problem with Panda house was the price. For 1 egg roll and 2 meals (including that 1 large Chicken Fried rice) it cost $22. Not upset over price at first, but then I looked at how big the meals were and then came my disappointment. I am kind of offended that they called it a large to begin with, and worse yet that they charged $10. That large was one meal for an average sized person (and I'm not a very big, I stand at 5'8, less than 200 lbs). Not that I was disappointed by the food, I just think my fellow Yelpers just misled others by saying it was the BEST chinese in town and it being reasonably priced. Best Chinese food in Green Bay!!! The quality of the food makes paying a little more worth it. I will not eat Chinese anywhere else. When people complain about the service, I don't think they understand how this place works. You order at the front counter, you pay right away. This is not a sit down restaurant with severs. If you decide to dine in they will bring you your food and that's it, which is fine with me. My only complaint is that I wish they delivered :( read more

My daughter and I went here to try the place out for the first time. Sadly it was the last time I will ever go to this restaurant. We decided to dine in and the place was mediocre at best and the service was poor. The food tasted ok but by no means "great" as some had stated on reviews. We ordered 1 order of Orange Chicken, Sweet & Sour Chicken, along with a order of crab Rangoon. This order was $27.50. I though it was pricey for two smaller meals but the real issue came when I went up to get my daughter a can of soda and I asked for a little more rice since they give you almost none when you dine in apparently. They scrambled looking for my previously signed receipt and then told me how that would be another $5+ (Really!) So I had to give a tip in advance of $3 and paid $27.50 for food that was not great then another $5+ for some rice and a can of soda.... Don't think so - We left and suggest you go t a real restaurant if you want to drop $35 for a small meal as I am sure you will be treated better. read more
