Always a good way to discover new bands, or rediscover old ones that you used to love and forgot about due to the flood of new music.

I've also read somewhere that many songs and artists are not available for live listening through last.fm due to copyrights and licensing rights of the artists, i.e. you can't listen to them if you are a subscriber or not. But recently, KDFC hired Maggie Clennon Reberg as an on-air host and I find myself turning to other stations when she is on the air. I find her voice grating and annoying and her commentary silly. I am a former classical music radio host, so I know from what I speak. I have often contributed to KDFC in the past, but if I contribute again, it will not be with the kind of unbridled generosity I have in the past. Of course, all this could change if only Ms. Reberg disappears.
