WOW!! What a restaurant!!…read more We had no reservations, but our party of 6 was seated right away. The food was of course Greek, but it made a concession to German sensibilities by having colossal-size meat portions. The appetizers were terrific, the service was attentive, and even the salads were amazing. (My wife had one.) My sons couldn't make up their mind, so they got various variety platters which of course they couldn't finish. Many of their fun dishes had names like "Minotaur Plate" or "Centaur Plate", and they also had various 2-person and even 4-person dishes. I tried to get my wife to go in on one with me but she panicked. I ended up getting the lamb cutlets of which they had a half-dozen varieties. You get 5 lamb "cutlets" to a dish, but they are small enough that I was not completely swamped by them. I did give two away to my table-mates. Both quantity & quality blew us all away. By far the best place I ate in Germany this year.

Gutes griechisches Essen. Wir haben allerdings den Fehler gemacht und sind dort vor Weihnachten essen gewesen. Es war dort unerträglich laut, der Laden rappelvoll. Wir hatten einen Tisch der genau gegenüber der Theke war und es es war unmöglich sich dort zu unterhalten. (Dann kamen da auch noch Gäste mit einem Hund so groß wie ein Pferd, der dann mal eben nach gesehen hat was man so auf dem Teller hat.) Klar dafür können die Restaurantbesitzer nichts aber es war mehr als daneben. Also sich besser einen Zeitpunkt aussuchen (vielleicht in der Woche ohne irgendeiner Festlichkeit in der Nähe), dann kann man dort sein Essen auch genießen. Im Sommer geht das sogar draußen! read more

Der Service war sehr freundlich. Das Essen wurde sehr schnell nach der Bestellung serviert. Zwischendurch gab es immer wieder nachfragen, ob alles in Ordnung ist und ob noch Getränke geordert werden möchten. Ich hatte allerdings den Eindruck, das ab ca. 21.30 keine große Lust des Servicepersonals da war, noch weitere Getränke zu bringen. read more

Wir sind regelmäßig hier - alleine, mit Familien oder mit Freunden. Immer werden wir freundlich empfangen und das Essen ist stets frisch und sehr gut. Zu empfehlen: Den Beilagensalat mit Essig und Öl zu bestellen. Das Olivenöl ist feinstes Öl aus Kreta. Die Lammkoteletts sind die besten, die wir in Deutschland gegessen haben. read more

I ordered lamb chop as Greeks are known for lambs, it was a good choice for sure. Very flavorful rosemary herb grilled chops in abundance, 5 bone-in chops for under 20 Euro along with a free salad. Great deal, hotel would have charged 2x of that. I only wished that that had asked me how "done" would I prefer, I would have preferred slightly more grill time. However, i don't think most lamb meals offer a choice like steaks, no blames here, it's very tender & flavorful, very nice as is.
