We got the garden salad, made of lettuce, endives, and seasonal fruits including berries, watermelon, pineapple, orange, topped with smoked salmon, smoked trout, and crayfish tails. The greens were dressed in a light, acidic vinaigrette, which brought all the components of the fresh salad together. We also tried the smoked trout, two fillets of warm fish, served with buttered bread, shrimp, crayfish tails, and fruit. Overall, the food here was simple but tasty (and a good complement to their drinks), though the service was extremely slow. The most memorable part was the dark, candlelit atmosphere, a nice cap to a visit in Rothenburg!
