If you have the word "bread" in your business name, the bread related products should be decent. These had to have been purchased a week ago from someplace else. BUT: If you knowingly have an employee that if UBER slow (NOT mentally handicapped/special needs in any way) which appears to be intentional, then that is BAD on you for putting this person at the front register. 8 people in line. NO one to help her. Her change counting ability is slow and when someone orders a cookie, then pop that bad boy in a bag hand it to them and move on. I do...honestly LOVE this location. This has to be the one of the poorest run Panera Breads in Collin county. Staff has always a been distant from their customer base and the tables are always dirty when we have visited. Now their closing hours are whenever they feel like it. I get trying to find staff is a challenge in today's world but at least put a sign up they closed due to staffing issues. I went at 6pm and all the doors were locked and the staff did not even come to the door to tell me they closed early. Instead the talked to each other with brooms in their hands. 5-2022. This is our go to lunch place when in this area. I order ahead on the app and it is in walking distance from the Marriott convention center. They have plenty of indoor and patio seating. You can also order at the kiosks inside or at the cashier. Plenty of bakery items to chose from. The Napa almond chicken salad sandwich is delicious, the full sandwich is the equivalent of two sandwiches, you can order half with chips or an apple. The Teriyaki Chicken & Broccoli Bowl is deliciously flavorful, you can chose a french baguette, apple or chips as a side. The cheese flatbread pizza was a little on the greasy side for me. Panera has always been my favorite place to some work on a Saturday. No one enjoys working on a weekend but the amazing coffee and extensive light menu helps. This place is clean and staffed with friendly faces. I grabbed a booth in the back with an outlet less than a foot from the table. The ability to keep my laptop and phone charged when doing work is critical. Although Panera is packed, it's not a roaring sound to where I can't hear myself think. Also, it's very clean inside. Some of their soups like the broccoli cheddar soup has a chicken broth base which I can't have. So it's good to ask them before ordering, especially if you have any dietary or religious restrictions. I love that Panera makes their own fresh bread and baked goods. It was really hard passing on their tempting baked goods today. Most disgusting bathroom I've seen in a while. Toilets had black mold growing along the inner rim and it smelled like a gas station toilet. Floor was dirty and the trash was overflowing.
