They were busy that evening but no customer should give there hard earned money for good food to receive this in return. If you place an order for pickup, just make sure you open every container in your bag before you leave. My wife and I ordered two breakfast sandwiches for dine in. Once when got the food the forgot to put the egg whites on both of them. Then they no longer had the same bread to remake the sandwich. It took a total of 20 minutes to get two sandwiches. The whole time nobody seemed to care or apologize for the their mistake, but where quick to blame it on other employees. read more

We love Panera. We get the soup in a bread bowl with salads every time. But we avoid ordering pastries if we go later in the day because they are left out all day and are usually stale by the afternoon. They also hire a lot of very annoying cashiers. There is one there now in particular who is loud and obnoxious. I love friendly people but I don't love being sucked into a 10 min conversation over stupid things I don't care about. We have gone here many, many times and have only had one truly rude person, who was actually a manager that is still working there. She must have just been having a bad day though because it's never happened since. Most of the staff is very helpful and nice. The place is kept clean too. read more

Love panera! The food is always delicious! I've always had a good experience in this particular Panera. Food is always good and got out fast. I think my family and I have tried so many items on their menu. My current favorite is the quinoa lentil soup bowl with kale. I love that the calories for each items are right on the menu. This is the worst restaurant of any kind we've been to. A couple months ago, after multiple instances of minor problems with my orders, I placed pick up order for 2 breakfast sandwiches. The sandwiches I received had no eggs. I called the store and talked to the manager. He made a bunch of excuses and offered a free breakfast. When I went back the next week to take them up on that offer it was a complete mess because nobody knew anything about it. I decided today to give them another chance since I was going right by there and I've enjoyed their food at other locations. Guess what! Another breakfast sandwich with no egg. This is a chian but each restaurant seems to have its own character and personality. This is a great place for light, healthy fare. The food is always tasty. We particularly like the 'Pick Two' which includes a great soup and a gourmet-style deli sandwich. We also stop at these places when traveling because the standard is consistent and we can count on a low calorie, tasty and healthy meal. I also like the folks that frequent Panera - friendly with some class. I see lots of notebook computers. They have a well-stocked bakery but breads and sweets are not my thing. read more

I became a regular customer at Panera Bread, Newnan, GA a few years ago. My favorite thing is still their Broccoli Cheese Soup Bread Bowl.....WONDERFUL! (Also love their Orange Scones and Bagels!) Have always found the Panera staff engaging, patient and efficient, making me look forward to my visits there.....just have never been disappointed in either service or product. The building is pleasant and clean, and parking is ample. Recently had one of the managers, James Butler, go out of his way to help me with a small problem I was having, and his kindness actually spurred my desire to write this review. I recently visited this restaurant. It is nice. It is clean. The moment I walked in I was greeted (bombarded) by a guy (obviously homosexual) saying "hello. Welcome to Panera". I walked to the counter. He was friendly and funny. I was in a grumpy mood and he made me laugh. I asked what his tattoo said (because i thought it was in Arabic or something but he said that language from lord of the rings) and he responds with "it says ham and cheese. The way I eat my hot pocket." Then we joked around a little more. The prices... Goodness... I had to decide on getting my lunch or paying my rent, but a bitch gotta eat. See me in court landlord. Anywho, I had a bread bowl of soup. I was worried of the soup falling out but I was safe. Didn't ruin my khakis. The lady who gave me my food was this (possibly Asian) lady with great skin. She was friendly. I didnt get her name. The chick preparing food was a lady who... Looks more like a waffle House waitress. The clock said one, but her mouth said "tooth-hurty." They need to offer their employees dental insurance. I got my food. Sat down. And then I went back for a cinnamon roll. The funny homosexual asked me what type of sweet I wanted. I said im uncertain. He said "I'd recommend a kitchen sink, but it's 800 calories and who needs hat in their life? The cinnamon rolls are great though. Just warm it in the microwave." They are now limiting the amount of time you can spend online! I used to come often, and i would make sure that i was ordering something every couple of hours since they were providing free internet. But now, if you're going to effectively turn the lights out on me because Ive stayed longer than you think i should have, then i will just find some other place to patronize that appreciates a working professional looking for a place to eat and work for a little while. I speak as someone who actually worked at this location and have eaten there. Food wise, it's fairly decent although very underwhelming. Don't expect large portions or that much with what you order for lunch/dinner. The menu is a tad confusing and it's taken me (and probably other people who order from there) five or so minutes to decide on an order. When asked about it, the people at Panera claim that's on purpose and because 'they aren't fast food' -- however most fast casual restaurants at least put numbers or a way to identify/tell differences with their menu to reduce confusion. So when you look at what you get for what you order, the price you pay is a little much. Their breakfast food is fine and I would say probably the only reason to continue going. They have great bagels and spreads and the breakfast pastries are always good. The presentation of the restaurant is great -- I will say that they do a good job of making you feel invited. The booths are comfortable and they are fairly fast with your order. But from having worked there and going by how I was treated, I would say avoid this place like the plague. I had the misfortune of working for a mental giant (I use the term loosely) of a manager who I am assured is no longer there. He hired about 10 to 20 people and sack most of them; he also dared to question my 'loyalty' and 'ability' to do the job, which is very demeaning. I've been working since high school so I really don't need a guy like this acting like I don't know how to work. It's not rocket science -- you go in every day and do the job and you learn as you go. People like that manager are apparently too dense to understand that sort of behavior will come back on them. So if you don't mind slightly overpriced food with a confusing menu prepared by people under duress, Panera Bread is not bad. read more

Today, at panera I order hot water, (I cannot drink sodas, etc). I was charged a 1.50 and ithe rec said hot tea.I asked the waitress, Alexis about it. Horrible dining experience. I ordered the pick two, soup and sandwich , never got my soup. When I mentioned it to the manager "Ashley" she gave me a look of disgust in front of my children, I might add. And told me I had my soup already. This store has steadily spiraled downward to the state of abysmal customer service over the last year. It starts with the lack of greeting you don't get and the eye roll when asked if you are going to get a greeting to the management team making excuses for the poorly trained, rude employees. When you address this issue with the general manager, she tells you that she has only been general manager for 6 weeks, yet been assistant manager here for the last year. The stores lacks quality leadership, and the staff lacks discipline and awareness of manners. This was confirmed by the manager telling me that the staff works hard when she is out on the line, but goofs off when she is in the back. The only hard workers appeared to be Sebastian and Mr. Joe, who both possess a work ethic. The general manager and the district manager were both in the store and never bothered to come and follow up during or after our lunch. Perhaps a positive change would be to begin with top level management positions being reevaluated. read more

As I sit here at a dirty table eating cold mac n cheese, listening to the employees talking about how they don't want to work tonight, I understand why this place is empty. Panera used to be one of my favorite places to eat but all of my recent visits have been extremely disappointing. Additionally, I bit into my cookie to find that it was completely stale. I've been frequenting this location because of its proximity to Cancer Treatment Centers of America where my husband was being treated. I love Panera because of their commitment to clean food which is so important for cancer patients. On my last visit, an error was made on order because I didn't receive the bagels and cream cheese I ordered but I didn't realize they were missing until I retuned to my husbands hospital room. We leave Newnan tomorrow morning and I wanted to get this taken of today. When I went into the the store, the manager on duty was waiting on a customer and another gentleman was waiting off to the side. When the manager completed the order with the current customer, he proceeded to assist the gentleman that was waiting. The problem is that this gentleman was trying to place an order for tomorrow morning and they couldn't take his order because apparently there were other orders for the same time. Here's the problem, while the manager was taking care of the other man, the phone was ringing off the hook and otter customers were coming in but we were all being completely ignored by the manager. Of course the other man was first but there wasn't even a nod of acknowledgement to me or the other customers that came in. Another very personable young man came out and try to answer the phone but things were so busy that three of the customers hung up before he could get back to them. This guy was not only answering the phone but also trying to wait on the customers at the counter. This manager was so worried about the one customer whose order he couldn't fulfill that he completely overlooked the fact that he was losing business left and right with missed phone orders and customers that walked out because they couldn't get waited on. I've been to this location five times and I find it ironic and unacceptable that my worse, most rude service came from one of the managers. I think acknowledging a customer's presence isn't too much to ask. That's just rude. When we return to Newnan, if I see this guy at Panera, I will leave. read more

I only gave you three stars because I like your food. Your service is just not good, never is. This is exactly the reason we started going to the Einstein's down the road for breakfast. I decided to give you one last try and stopped for oatmeal. There were no customers, but a lot of staff. Still, it took over 15 minutes for me to get a simple cup of oatmeal and it still wasn't prepared with all the ingredients listed in the description, as discovered when I got home. This isn't an isolated incident. It has happened multiple times. Again, love that you're trying to be more healthy with your food choices, but hate the service at this location.
