Portions are getting smaller and smaller and food quality is awful. I paid 14 dollars for something I'd say was half of the plate. When I asked for help, people from the kitchen said that that was the portion. I used to have that exact plate everywhere, that's why I know it was not the same. Also, when you ask for the big soup, they give you less, it's more convenient to buy the small cup of soup because it's pretty much the same amount. In addition, salad quality is not the best. Nice staff, usually pretty helpful. But some times, the person isn't trained in all of the things they offer and that makes it difficult to try new items. Their bakery items are usually taste pretty fresh, but their coffee isn't too good though. I have the coffee subscription that I got for free, unfortunately still not worth it though. I have the Apple Card which is where I got the coffee subscription from and every time you purchase Panera Bread you get 3% cash back, which is nice though. It helps offset but they are pretty price for what you get. Sizes are pretty small and quality sometimes can be an issue. I have cold soups, overly toasted bread, undercooked food items, burnt coffee or coffee with a cup full of coffee grounds, etc. I do love their Vanilla Cinnamon Roll, Broccoli Cheddar Soup and when their Mac and Cheese isn't watery like soup and their roasted Turkey & Avocado BLT. They have a shared parking lot with Walmart, Quodba, a few other businesses. It's hard for me to always recommend them, but if you in the area and have never been I would recommend trying them. I visit this place at least 5 times a week for my free coffee since I have a coffee subscription. I prefer the light roast to the dark roast and I have more than made up for the cost of subscription. If you drink at least one cup of coffee and day and you prefer buying your coffee rather than making it, this subscription is definitely worth it. I do wish this panera location had a drive thru. We also grabbed some food here a couple of times. Their sandwiches are not my favorite - I think the bread is too chewy. Their salads are amazing and the portion size is huge. Their soups are decent. I wish their service was a bit faster, I feel like I am waiting in line even to get a cup for my free coffee. If they had a self service line for people with subscriptions so we could just scan and go instead of waiting in line, that would make my mornings so much better read more

Went in for a breakfast and seen some of their signs in the large sandwiches and specials they had the breakfast sandwich was horrible. I asked for an egg, bacon and cheese on a roll or bread whatever they had available. It was so small. I couldn't believe it cost me almost $14 and it was scrambled eggs couldn't find the bacon and didn't have the cheese on it, never go back and help people are walking around. Couldn't find anybody except for 1 girl trying to do everything. She was very nice and specifically wrote down what I wanted, but the shift seem to have a little bit of an attitude when I asked him about my sandwich the photos they show you in the front of the store are blown up, so don't think you're getting a big sandwich, my puppy could eat that will not return to that location. read more

Love the free wifi with a little soup and salad plus unsweetened ice tea but the Panera in Norwalk dirty and smells weird. They are very busy at 1pm lunch but they Take one of the 5 people at the register and clean a table. Wanted to hang out and work this afternoon but may need Togo to Starbucks instead. Ok it's been many months but trying them again because it's closest location for me but it hasn't improved. I'm reducing my review from 3 stars to 2 because the manager doesn't seem to care that service is slow and unfriendly and tables are filthy. Panera has been our go-to over the past year. Lately; as prices have risen it's been one of the few reasonably priced reasonably healthy options. Boston Market would be another. I've tried many options from their menu, but there's truly only one true dud - the flatbreads. Normally, they excel at carbs. However, the dough on these flatbreads is kind of tough. I wouldn't recommend them. What I would recommend is the Autumn Squash Soup. It's fantastic! Perfectly creamy and sweet but not too sweet. In the summer, the seasonal strawberry salad with poppyseed dressing is wonderful. I wait all year for it. I also really like the Smokehouse BBQ sandwich and my husband likes the Mac and Cheese sandwich. Sounds odd, but he really likes it. I frequently get the Greek Salad. As a lover of all things sour, this is right up my alley. However, I can see this not being everyone's cup of tea. It's really acidic! I'm personally not a big fan of their mac and cheese. It's a bit overcooked and mushy. If you like green juices, try their Green Passion Smoothie. It's surprisingly good and unique. In the bakery section, my favorite is the orange cranberry muffin. While pregnant, I was obsessed with them. However, they weren't always available. My poor husband had to drive to Panera or call daily to see if they had any. It was out of stock pretty often. Overall, I love Panera. Particularly, I love the pick two option and I like that you can upgrade or downgrade the soup size as part of the pick 2. read more

I've been going to this Panera for a while and it's a great operation. The staff is consistent which builds a sense of community. The food is terrific and always fresh. Though not cheap, the ingredients are fresh and healthy. It seems a satellite office for so many. A place for seniors to get out and combat loneliness. Lots of young people getting coffee. This has to be the worst Panera I have ever been to and I should have know this when I entered on a Sunday morning at 10 am and there was no line and only a few others in the place. My son wanted a cinnamon crunch bagel and they appeared quite burnt and when I asked the cashier if they were burnt she said yes but the inside was still good. The whole point of that bagel is the outside of it. I ordered an egg souffle and it was very salty and dry. I waited 5 minutes for my iced latte to be made and then had to have my iced latte made over because it was not made correctly the 1st time. Definitely won't be back again read more

I can live with the limited choices however when I order a toasted bagel with butter you expect that an not two toasted bagel halfs floating around at the bottom of a big bag with some packets of butter! I might be biased, because I like Panera. I always find it fresh, healthy, and they have a tasty zero calorie iced tea. This particular location seems to never be crowded - I never have to wait, and I am in and out within 5-10 minutes with my lunch. Everyone is friendly, and the restaurant is kept clean (granted, easier, since they are not busy). Unlike many Paneras, here they remind me what the 'specials' are I have on my card so I don't miss out on my free coffee or bakery treat. Definitely a good lunch spot. I visit this panera bread outlet almost everyday. Firstly, the good. Cashiers and servers are more often than not, very friendly, and make me feel welcomed. They always remember to remind me of the free stuff I get with my panera card. And when I can't decide on a sandwich they will give me a good low-calorie suggestion. And they always give me 2 dinner rolls when I ask for it! Now, the bad. When I order for take out, 2 out of 3 times, I got a different soup than what I had ordered, that was really unfortunate as I would usually look for low calorie soups and that really screwed up my diet for the day and I would usually discover too late as I would be home already and not wanting to return to get it fixed. So bottom line is, do not order take out!!! This outlet is always rather empty so stay for your meal and take the time to unwind and relax. read more
