Panera's bakers dozen of bagels still hit the spot for a quick group breakfast (especially the cinnamon crunch!). BUT tossing them loose in a bag just feels wrong. worst experience ever here. I am literally sitting in my car in the parking lot in tears because of the inefficiency of this restaurant. Ordered a you pick two. $20 for that and an ice tea. Waited almost a half hour, my buzzer hadn't gone off. I go up to the counter, and, I see what appears to be my order sitting on the counter. She says that's someone else's order. Asks my name, oh, yeah it is your order. She says it's been sitting at least 10 min. Offered to replace the soup. The salad, with dressing, would be soggy, too. A new order means more waiting. I asked for a refund. Yes, they refunded my pick 2, but I will receive it in 3-5 business days. I spent $20 for a drink, 40 min later, no lunch. Being diabetic, I have to find somewhere to have lunch and spend another $10+ more. I am livid. I will never be back here. Minimum wage increase for this??! Not worth going anywhere anymore. Was eventually asked what I waiting for and told them. They got my order but it was wrong, ordered a large drink and was given one the size of a can of coke. Went to Panera today after church. We got the green tea drink so good best one of all, Mac and cheese 5 stars, grilled cheese always good and the amount of cheese they put it insane. The tomatoes soup always hits the spot. Wonderful meal. Highly recommend these dishes. I don't eat meat so I can't review on any of the sandwiches, but I am glad they have some great vegetarian options. The staff was friendly. Tables were clean. Ps. Here's an update. Previously, I noted that this location isn't up to the same standard it used to be. With the advent of curbside parking, this location continues to fail to deliver...literally. I recently shared this feedback on a Panera survey: "I've ordered curbside pick-up several times from this location. Almost every time (about 9 out of every 10 times), I arrived between 5 and 10 minutes after my order was ready and checked in via the app for curbside delivery, only for another 5 to 10 minutes to pass without receiving the food. Nine of 10 times, I've had to call the restaurant and ask them to bring out my order. I'm kind about it, and they are kind, too. I don't know if it's an app problem (the app isn't checking me in), a store system problem (they aren't being notified of my arrival), or a service problem (they see I've arrived but don't respond promptly). Whatever the scenario, I highly suggest fixing it. My family and I often wanted Panera, but we changed our minds and went elsewhere because we anticipated poor curbside service time from Panera. If we saw significant improvement in curbside delivery time (1 to 3 minutes after checking in on the app, no phone call required), we'd likely order from Panera more often." read more

Service was bad. I go for my second cup of coffee and there is nothing. I asked Tatiana and she didn't show any concern for what I was saying. I practically walked in behind the counter so she could hear me. I asked about coffee she said I had to wait 10 min. But I have to leave, then she said- I don't work that department and told me to wait 7 minutes and went back to make a drink. So is it 10 or 7min? If she could only ask the right person. Other Paneras have offer to serve me the coffee from the back. Or they go to the back to check how long, maybe I could have waited... She didn't even tried to check in the back or ask someone else. In any case it's very cold outside and it's Panera 3:30pm... all coffee pots shouldn't be empty at the same time for that long. Your manager is on the register, helping one woman I am standing behind her, waiting my turn patiently, although she didn't understand the menu. I'm still very patient. Another employee walks over and gets ready to open another register. Your manager told her no, don't help her let her use The customer kiosk. Went on to finish helping the lady. And walks two more people behind me he moves himself off of the register, closes it right in front of me. Never says ma'am I'll be right with you. Today I visited for the first time in a while. While I was deciding what I wanted to eat, the front cashier Ana sneezes in her hand a few times. Keep in mind the pastry cabinet is open behind her with no shield on her side, just to the customers. Then turns to the sink to wash her hands. The issue is, the water ran longer than she washes her hands. She turned the water on, sneezed again in her hand, then added soap did not have both hands laver or touch. Did not wash for 20 seconds before rinsing. I then spoke the manager Anthony about it, and he said your right. I asked will she be touching my food- he replied no. How ever she had to get my danish. So she did put one glove on and hold the bag with the other. I asked so you don't wear two gloves. She replied no. Which is strange because the woman before me she wore two gloves. Let me just start by sending I was in the customer service business for over 45 years. I was in the Panera on 10th St.. I ordered it Fuji apple and chicken salad and a sandwich.. I picked up my order and when I got to my car, young man came running out telling me that they made a mistake on my sandwich. He informed me that they were making another sandwich and will bring it out to you shortly. Let me just repeat I was about to get in my car when he approached me. All my years of customer service. I love Panera. Their salads. The sammies the turkey chili. They always are clean and offer pick up order onsite and delivery options. I like to go in person and generally go with the chipotle chicken and tomato bisque. They offer some great fresh lemonades and fresh sodas which are always good. So the people here are friendly. The food is good. For that alone I'll continue to show up. However, their systems and processes are so inconsistent. I work from home, and will order from here at least once a day for the coffee subscription and also dine here periodically. I always use the app to save time and for ease of use/pickup/service. Problem is, I never know if the coffee I order will be ready or not, and if it is ready, I never know if it will be on the rapid pickup shelf (like the app says it will be) or just hanging out on the counter by the cash registers. There is also a third shelf they use for curbside pickup. I've been a supervisor/manager at customer facing establishments. Your customers are served quicker if you have a consistent "home" for each tool and product. This establishment seems to change their methods day by day, or even hour by hour (since sometimes I come twice a day). Pickup is never the same. In this most recent case, I've been purchasing bread bowls as well for soup at home. Sometimes they're pre-cut and prepped, and other times, like today, I have to prep it myself. Isn't the reason I'm spending $5 on a loaf of bread so that I don't have to prep it? I could've easily got a cheaper loaf at the store. The point is that you all made it a bread bowl, that's why I'm paying you more for it. This was after my order was not waiting on the shelf at the time the app claimed it would be. It wasn't even prepped (as evident with the product I received). Again, you all are friendly and your food is great, and I will continue to show up and give you business. But your inconsistency is affecting the customer experience. Please take the guessing game out of dining here. UPDATE FOR THE NEW YEAR: Unfortunately, still somewhat hit and miss. The latest in my daily visits include inaccurate order and providing two knives as my only utensils for a soup and salad. I love this place. Generically, Panera fosters a welcoming ambiance, even without the fireplaces actively lit. This one is no exception. Panera also offers a "sip club" which is successfully managing to stay afloat and worth every penny. You pay a monthly fee and can get a free drink from the self-serve area any time you see a Panera. This is lovely, and brings them regular core business. Read their agreement for everything I've forgotten. I am not any kind of official representative. This location is my personal favorite. It is well-kept and responsive to its clientele, which is very diverse and obviously thriving under the expert care of the management. People feel safe here, and treat each other kindly and respectfully. As to the menu, I have my favorites and a couple of failures. Any of their boules are top notch. All of their sandwiches are a ditto. All salads but one also have my vote. The Strawberry Poppyseed, which sounds exciting has a deeply disappointing poppyseed vinaigrette with artificial sweetener in it. Get it with another salad dressing, or yoghurt, but not sure how to get the poppyseeds in that case. I hope they can fix this salad dressing, really. It has such potential to be delightful, like the rest of the menu, including their amazing flatbreads. Now, here's the final touch: family meals. Go find them. You're welcome. read more
